증상
1996 Toyota Avalon XLS, 110,000마일, V6. 겨울 초반부터 시동이 여러 번 시도해야 걸림. 시동 시도할 때마다 클릭음 발생. 브레이크 램프가 키를 돌릴 때마다 켜졌다 꺼짐. 스타터 모터가 회전하지 않는 것으로 보임.
처리 내용
두 가지를 점검하세요. 첫째, 가장 가능성이 높은 것은 스타터 솔레노이드 불량입니다. 솔레노이드의 동판 와셔(배터리 연결부와 스타터 모터 연결부 사이)가 마모되면 클릭음이 나면서 벤딕스가 플라이휠로 밀리지만 스타터 모터에 전원이 공급되지 않습니다. 여러 번 시도하면 가끔 접촉이 되어서 시동이 걸릴 수 있습니다. 스타터를 부품점에 가져가 벤치 테스트를 받으세요. 둘째, 스타터 릴레이 불량을 확인하세요. 차량에 따라 스티어링 컬럼이나 다른 위치에 기계식 또는 전자식 릴레이가 있을 수 있으니 배선도를 확인하고 릴레이를 점검해보세요.
