1991 메르세데스 190E (가솔린)에서 시동 문제 발생. 하루 이상 사용하지 않거나 몇 분 내에 다시 시동하면 정상. 하지만 몇 시간(하루 미만)의 시간이 경과한 후 시동을 걸면 문제 발생.

2000 GMC Savanna, 추운 날씨 후 따뜻하고 습한 기단이 통과할 때 시동 불가. 엔진 블록, 배선 등에 심한 응축수 발생. 엔진은 크랭킹되고, 연료 레일은 가압되어 있으며, 스파크 플러그에 스파크는 있음. 이전에 튜닝(벨트, 스파크 플러그, 스파크 플러그 와이어 교체)을 했으나 문제 재발.

MAN TGM 13.290 버스의 캐빈에서 제어 노브의 기능이 무엇인지 확인 필요

Thomas 1991 스쿨버스(36K GVWR), CAT 3116 엔진, Allison MT 643 트랜스미션 장착. 고속도로 주행 중 시속 55mph에서 엔진 RPM이 4000으로 올라감. 트랜스미션에 오버드라이브 기어가 없는 것으로 보임. 타코미터 최대 지점이 4000 RPM이며, 이 수준의 RPM이 정상인지, 엔진에 손상을 줄 수 있는지 의문.

승객석 뒤쪽 타이어 주변에서 강한 탄 고무 냄새 발생. 해당 타이어와 주변 부위에 물을 분무하니 많은 수증기/연기가 발생. 다른 세 타이어에는 수증기/연기 없음. 3주 전 리어 브레이크 교체 완료 후 처음 발생한 증상. 2006년식 링컨 타운카.

엔진오일 교환

디젤 라궁나 08년식에서 엔진에서 약간의 소음이 증가했습니다. 벨트가 돌아갈 때 엔진 최하단의 풀리(사진으로 보면 AC 컴프레서인 것 같음)가 다른 풀리들과 달리 바로 회전하지 않습니다. 언급한 추가 소음에는 지연이 있으며, 이 풀리가 회전하기 시작할 때와 같은 시점에 소음이 시작됩니다. AC 컴프레서나 파워스티어링 펌프의 베어링이 손상되었을 가능성이 있다고 생각합니다.

부드러운 도로에서 마운틴 바이크 타이어로 탈 때 나는 음향과 유사한 저음의 윙윙거리는 소리. 중립 상태에서도 계속 들림(변속기 문제 아님). 시속 50-70km에서 가장 큼. 그 범위 밖에서는 엔진음에 묻힘.

런플랫 타이어 3개의 측면이 손상됨 (내부 철심이 노출됨). 정비사는 이것이 런플랫 타이어에서 정상이라고 주장하며 안전하다고 함. 손상을 미리 알리지 않았고 보상으로 설치만 제공하겠다고 함.

브레이크 디스크 교환

2008 포드 레인저 앞 브레이크가 심하게 걸림. 특히 고속도로에서 급제동할 때 심함. 로터와 패드 교체 후 한 달간 정상이었다가 다시 발생. 로터 연마 후에도 반복됨.

OBD에서 1997 Ford Mercury(Tracer) 저연료압 코드 표시. 연료펌프를 교체해야 하는지, 펌프 전체를 교체해야 하는지 아니면 모터 유닛만 교체해도 되는지 확인 필요. 저연료압을 유발할 수 있는 다른 원인 파악 필요.

I run a variety of older cars including a Mini R50, a VX220 and a Cayman 987 so there’s usually something needing attention.I bought the Cayman in March. It’s a 2007 model with the base 2.7 engine.
