Someone at work had the SUV version in a lovely verdant green colour, it looks fantastic. As a financial decision they probably are a bit of a risky one, but then I drive a Jag that lost someone 54 grand in 34,000 miles.

I'd heard generally positive things from Taycan owners.Lazy journalism continued by people wearing cardigans with leatherette elbow patches who are still a bit pissed off that a distributor with points is no longer a thing.CraigyMc said: re: are they particularly unreliable?Anecdotally yes, and when they go wrong it takes forever to get them repaired. I know one that was off the road for 4 months.Anecdotally here they are super-reliable.QQ : have there ever been ICE cars that are similarly anecdotally unreliable? Or, for that matter, that have depreciated?EV8 said: Bluehorseshoe said: Like the Taycan if its a company car then its fine if its your own money there a cheaper alternatives that wont make you realise you have been shafted by the government into buying new technology that has not yet matured How long does it take to be "matured"? Really want to know. Me too.Ultimately does a car do what you need it to do? If so, surely it's mature? If something different comes out tomorrow, does that make the car you have today any less worthwhile?I'm both biased and in a seeming minority - I bought a Taycan with my own money Why on earth would I do that? Because it's a superb car, irrespective of drivetrain. It does what I need. It handles and performs brilliantly. I'd owned my 2007 B7 RS4 Avant for 11 or so years because there was no other car (irrespective of drivetrain) that covered the bases for me until the Taycan came along. It surprised me. Enough to hand over my own cash. And sell the RS4 and 911.Am I an EVangelist? Maybe now. But my car buying history is hopefully enough to indicate that hugging trees has never been a priority. I simply buy metal that works for me on a number of levels...performance, presence and enjoyment being high up there,The government were utterly st

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
