Ok so I go to a lot of music festivals in the summer, stay up all night, then try to sleep during the day. A buddy swears by just idling his van engine and blasting the AC, like for 4-8 hours when it gets up to 100 degrees outside… I get that this will put significant wear on the engine, but so will driving it 500 miles, what I’m asking is will it be dangerous for it and cause expensive repairs? Well, good luck to them persisting with it. But Hydrogen power is a proven dead end as a means of propulsion. Way too inefficient to make, and way too hard to handle to be practical en masse. And the line about Japan not having its own natural resources…..how does hydrogen fix that vs electricity?Keep fossil fuel ICE for the special/hard to electrify use cases, and everything else goes electric. Emissions slashed to sustainable levels, everybody happy. Even those who don’t understand physics.

2004 아우디 A4 V6 후방 추돌 사고 후 배기음이 이상함. 범퍼는 손상되지 않았다고 주장하지만 충격을 들었음. 정비사가 플렉스 파이프(flex-pipe)가 낡아서 충격으로 인해 파손되었다고 진단.

스마트폰용 일반 휴대용 파워뱅크로 배터리가 방전된 자동차를 점프스타트할 수 있는지 궁금함. 올바른 커넥터(예: 클램프)가 있으면 모든 파워뱅크가 가능한지, 아니면 자동차 점프스타트에 필요한 특정 요구사항(용량, 전용 설계 등)이 있는지 확인 필요

에어 필터, 스파크 플러그, 오일 교환 후에도 시동이 2~4회 시도해야 걸림. 체크 엔진 라이트 점등 상태 지속. 80mph 이상 가속 불가. 80mph에서 엔진이 실속하는 듯한 소음 발생.

체크 엔진 경고등이 켜졌고 진단 코드에서 촉매변환기(촉매) 문제로 나타남. 딜러에서 양쪽 촉매변환기가 모두 불량이며 각각 약 $1K 정도라고 주장함.

1965 머스탱에 열선 시트를 추가했는데, 시트 히터 배선에 래칭 회로가 없고 SPDT Hi/Off/Low 스위치로 제어됩니다. 엔진이 켜져 있을 때만 시트에 전원을 공급하기 위해 릴레이를 제어 배선에 추가했습니다. 릴레이 코일의 전원으로 오토차저 'BAT' 출력을 사용하려고 했는데, 이 배선이 스타터 릴레이의 핫 사이드에서 배터리 양극 피드와 함께 터미네이션되어 있어서 코일이 항상 전력을 받는 문제가 있습니다.

스즈키 젬마50 캐브 오버홀. 문제가 많은 젬마50. 일단 캐브 오버홀 진행. 이 젬마의 순정 캐브는 오토초크 기구를 갖춘 당시로서는 꽤 획기적인 기구. 50cc인데도 불구하고. 공정2: 뜯어보니 깜짝 놀람! 예상 이상으로 깨끗함. 개스킷도 파손되지 않아서 그대로 재사용. 공정3: 내부는 깨끗했지만 초크 기구의 다이어프램에 파손. 일단 액상 가스킷으로 막았지만. 공정4: 탱크 내부에도 어느 정도 녹이 있지만 가까스로 사용 가능한 수준. 일단 콕은 오버홀할 예정.

와이퍼 모터를 교체한 후 와이퍼가 작동하지 않음. 모터 플러그를 빼고 와이퍼 버튼을 누르면 글로브박스 뒤에서 클릭음이 들림. 와이퍼 컨트롤 모듈(글로브박스 뒤 큰 검은 박스)을 확인했을 때 정상 작동하는 것으로 보임. 모터를 다시 연결하고 와이퍼를 사용하려고 하니 클릭음이 멈춤. 퓨즈는 정상.

2006 VW Golf 프론트 두 개의 스프링에서 침대 스프링 같은 삐걱거리는 소리 발생. WD40를 분무해도 효과 없음. 계절에 따라 변함 (특히 여름에 더 조용함). 작은 범프마다 삐걱거림.

닛산 리프(ZE1) 도어트림 장착 작업 - 조명 추가 설치 프로젝트. 1단계: 밝기 강화 시 사용했던 제조사의 스테인리스 제품이 좋아서 선택함. 아마존 프라임 데이 구매로 저렴하게 구입. 2단계: 초기 상태가 다소 단조로워 보임. 우선 탈지 작업 진행. 3단계: 실제 부착 작업. 제품의 바디 추종성이 우수하여 완벽하게 밀착됨. 이후 대형 부품이므로 양생 테이프로 3일간 주행 테스트. 4단계: 양생 테이프 제거 완료.

엔진 브레이킹 사용 시 RPM 상승과 소음 발생. 긴 내리막길에서 2단 기어로 유지할 때 시속 45km 정도에서 가속되는 현상.

트랜스미션 오일이 개스킷에서 누수. 정비소에서 임시방편으로 수리하면서 계속 방문하게 유도한 것으로 의심. 두 번째 정비소에서 확인한 결과, 나사 나선이 닳아서 밀착이 안 되는 상태이며, 교체하려면 절단 후 용접이 필요한 상황.
