Crikey, I genuinely never thought I'd ever start a thread in the readers car section of PH. However, here I am and here's the start of the story.To gain some perspective we need to jump in the time machine and look back to my late teens where, after crashing my 1st car after 2 days of driving, a 1.4 Ford Escort, I pick up my first Citroen Saxo. It was a 1.1 with the MK2 conversion and VTR body kit in Poseidon Blue. It was great car that I did a few period relevant modifications too. Although it's a cheap plate, it is numerically sequential with the plate I have on another car and hence I'd like to keep it.However - the original registration for this car was cloned. As soon as I bought the car (used), i got a couple of different fines through the post - I got an incident number which cancelled those fairly easily, and they stopped a week later when I put the private plate on.But, I really don't want the hassle of that again if the car gets the original registration again and I can't find any in

I drove it was not impressed . I liked the 1600cc 105TC better . In the series 2 strada it had much stronger front chassis legs and the gear linkage was much better than the series 1 and had a better gearbox . Most people i speak with like the series 1 more . They only made them in left hand drive .

16v was a real performance car. I don’t know how they sold so many 8v cars, when back in the mid 80’s you could get a Fiat Strada 130 TC Abarth or Lancia Delta 1.6 HF Turbo for similar money.

Back in 2001 my first car was loaned to me by my parents (they bought it for my sister, she went to uni, I was given use of it etc, the usual) and it was a 1.1i in red, 1998 R plate, key code immobilises (9681 for the record, my sisters birthday obviously) and 3 stud wheels (were they all?) 트랙데이 준비 중 브레이크 슬라이더 핀 부츠가 매우 경화되어 있음. 이전 트랙데이(도닝톤)에서 가속 중 우회전하거나 힘주어 기어변경할 때 조수석 발 앞부분에서 불쾌한 소음 발생. 몇 코너 후 사라짐. 조수석 휠의 12시/6시 위치에서 드라이브샤프트에 약간의 왕복운동 감지.
