250k miles on this one. High mileage cars appear to gravitate towards me. I went to see this one courtesy of Bolidemichael of this parish. I've wanted an M5 for a while, and this one intrigued me because of the mileage and the fact that the then current owner had done all of it bar 30k! It was either going to be worn out and a waste of time, or well maintained and worth a shot. Luckily for me it was the latter. My high mileage 911 had just slightly broken on me yet not actually failed to proceed (detailed in its own thread). I needed another car while I sorted that out and this fitted the bill

Where were we before Christmas and E39 M5's distracted me? Ah yes, all stripped down and ready for new bits to go on!It got quite expensive quite quickly in the end... Pirtek couldn't sort the pipes out for me because they're aluminium and can't be welded or crimped with their kit. They only tend to work with steel pipe. To save time and messing around with second hand parts I just bought new ones from Porsche. It wasn't cheap but I'd rather do it properly and only once than have to go back and fix it again in the near future. I sent the steering rack off for refurb and that got expensive too.

Was always a big fan of these, much more so than the Ferrari equivalents, the colour combo suits it well to my eyes

오일 레벨이 절반 정도 낮음. 플라스틱 체인 가이드 부품 다수 손상됨. 기어박스 고장 (일주일 사용 후 기어박스 파손).

OK, so it's a bit boring after an M3, but a good car in it's own right. As mentioned in my Car Buying thread, an automatic diesel convertible perhaps isn't many people's idea of a fun car, but it ticks a lot of boxes and I'm enjoying it so far, treating it for what it is.It's an N57 model, so has 245bhp and 384lb/ft. Plus it's only a remap away from significantly more, although plenty sufficient for now. There's the typical diesel clatter getting up

I bought this car on a bit of a whim. It popped up in my favourite Whatsapp group of petrolheads as a link back to this very site's classified section. The Maserati for me too but only the facelift version from 2017 onwards. God knows what age the tech in the infotainment system is in that example.

The Yatour Bluetooth 'Ai-Net' adapter arrived today and as suspected the radio does not recognise it, so it is being sent back to Shenzhen. Will stick with the radio, cassette tapes and CDs for the time being.
