As above, I'll leave Craig to update on the drama but here's a short video I took from the passenger seat on Saturday on our way to the Porsche museumhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1gJpgfI3wi0O9ImInB...
Stick Legs said: He won the lottery and it's on it's way to Singer with the instruction to make it the best 996 in the world.Cor, I wish! But for me, this is already the best 996 Right, I'll let you all out of your suspense. I've had time to sort the pictures out.The whole story revolves around a little trip to Germany with Mr E90_M3Ross. A long weekend away, to have a look at the Nurburgring and then on to Stuttgart for the Porsche museum and anything else that took our fancy while there. Mercedes museum looked promising too.Obligatory shot of the car on the train.I used a well known old route in to Germany that I've used for years. This particular road on the Belgian/German boarder is a favorite of mine.We stopped near the Nurburgring that night and had a quick mooch around the next morning. The track was closed to the public because there was some racing going on so no chance of a cheeky lap, but we went and saw some bits of track and a few cars going around. It was raining too, so we didn't hang around long and jumped on to some Autobahns heading for Stuttgart. Then, this happened. We parked in the Porsche museum car park and I noticed a little trail of fluid on the floor leading to my car. It was green and oily. Oh, that'll be PAS fluid then... Underneath the car was a large puddle of the stuff. If you started the car and looked underneath, there was a waterfall of it too!So, what do you do when you're at the furthest point in the trip away from home? Ignore it and go look at classic Porsches, of course! Here are some of the highlights from the museum. I've got to admit, I expected to see more cars and the museum to be a bit bigger, with more to read on the history of the brand. Maybe I was just spoilt with visiting the BMW museum a few years ago first, which was superb. Anyway, I really liked seeing the Pink Pig and I had ideas about a wrap for mine With that over, it was back to the car. We sloped off, pretending it wasn't us who soiled the car park, with the

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more. But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
