Unreal I think your observations are not entirely accurate. You do see Pro-EV types arguing the virtues of their cars, but almost unanimously they do so from the perspective of having owned or currently owning an ICE as well. And they do so in response to a deluge of social media wisdom and other sponsored media BS.The number of pro-ICE folk who have used an EV for an extended period/owned them and who argue that EVs are crap is almost zero. I attempted to buy a clutch and dual mass flywheel for a Citroen C4 2.0 Hdi on Friday. Plus some other parts. I placed part of the order with GSF.GSF promised deliver on Monday, if I ordered within 48 minutes. I ordered within 2 minutes.When the order e-mail came through, it says "delivery in 2~3 working days". This is quite different to the promise on the website ! I phoned them and apparently two of the parts are shipped directly from other suppliers. They may be despatched today or tomorrow. So whilst they promise delivery for Monday, they do not actually know when the parts w

Hi all.I used to work as an IT contractor for JLR, which was my first real exposure to how OEMs work.That being said, I regret not being able to use my time more wisely there, in terms of learning more about how OEMs operate.I have a few questions if anyone wouldn't mind answering some of them: How many dealerships are still OEM-owned versus franchised? https://www.am-online.com/AM100/ gives me the largest franchised dealer groups, but how many can sell D2C? Reading https://www.bcg.com/publications/2023/shifting-to-... suggests that, in the age of online, it is only the MSRP that matters now.

차량 세척 중 물이 과도하게 들어가서 시동을 끈 후에도 ECU가 계속 부팅/재부팅되며 난동을 부림. 히팅, 라이트, 인디케이터, 도어락이 반복적으로 켜지고 꺼짐. 배터리를 분리해도 재연결하면 같은 현상 재발. 엔진 시동 상태에서만 스캔 가능하며 여러 모듈에서 'failed to communicate' 에러 표시되지만 실제 결함은 없음.
