에어컨 시스템 고압측 밸브 근처에서 냉매 누수 발생. 정비소에서 냉매를 방출했으며, 호스 교체 및 시스템 재충전에 약 $400이 소요될 예상됨. DIY 키트로 저비용 수리를 고려 중.

최근 오일을 교환했는데, 새 오일처럼 맑은 금색이 아니라 검은색이고 약간 묽은 상태입니다. 2년 이상 정비하지 않은 것처럼 진득한 슬러지 상태는 아니지만, 오일 상태를 평가할 수 있는 수준이 제한적입니다. Longlife 오일과 제조사에서 권장하는 더 긴 정비 간격에 대한 포럼 글들을 많이 읽었는데, 차량 매뉴얼의 정비 간격이 절대적인 기준은 아닌 것 같습니다. 모든 엔진이 약간씩 다른 상태에 놓이게 되고, 당연히 운전 방식에 따라 달라집니다.

회사 차량입니다. 약 20분 정도 운행 후 대시보드의 모든 경고등(ABS, 스티어링 컨트롤, MIL)이 켜집니다. 이 현상이 발생하면 TCM과 PCM과의 통신이 끊어집니다. 차량이 식으면 모든 통신이 정상화됩니다.

2007 Camry 수동변속기 (호주 수출, 아랍만 지역용). 엔진이 때때로 500rpm으로 떨어진 후 정지되거나 1500rpm으로 올라가서 정상 유휴속도(1000rpm)로 돌아오지 않음. 연비가 13L/100km로 증가(이전 9L/100km). 공기 흡입구의 패들/플랩 제어 부분을 청소하고 연료 탱크에 분사기 세정제를 첨가한 후 일시적으로 개선됨.

My G42 is back at BMW for the second round of headlight replacement - this time it’s just diagnosis as the revised parts aren’t available yet but i wanted to be in the queue for their eventual availability. Why am I posting about this on my MINI thread? Well, look at the courtesy car they’ve given me!Obviously it’s huge and ugly as sin but I quite like the interior. God knows what this list price on it would be. It’s JCW spec with seemingly all the options ticked. I can’t imagine they sell a huge number, but as small(ish) family SUV’s go it’s at least offering something a bit different.

Back from holiday so the car was collected today and deposited safely at the bodyshop. It was greeted by a 1991 Sierra Cosworth fresh out of the booth following some light restoration so I’m very much hoping the MINI looks as good when I next see it!
