증상
1993 VW Mk1 Cabriolet에서 헤드라이트 점등 시 유휴 속도가 상승하고 내려가는 현상(거의 정지 수준까지) 발생. 유휴 안정화 솔레노이드(Idle Stabiliser Solenoid/Valve) 교체 후에도 문제 지속. 솔레노이드는 정상 작동 중(라이트 켤 때 클릭음 감지). 솔레노이드 분리 시 엔진은 안정적이지만 매우 낮은 속도로 유휴. 진공 호스에서 누출 없음.
처리 내용
알터네이터 벨트 장력 및 상태 점검. 배터리 완전 충전 상태 및 건강 상태 확인. 헤드라이트 스위치, 배선, 전구 불량 가능성 확인. 리어 히터 스크린 켤 때도 회전수가 내려가는지 확인. 이 차량은 헤드라이트 릴레이가 없어 스위치와 배선이 모든 전력을 공급함. 모든 어싱 포인트 점검, 스위치 상태 확인(부식/초록색 산화물 여부). 배선 상태 확인 시 번호판 조명 전구도 함께 확인. Mk1의 일반적인 업그레이드로 라이트용 릴레이식 배선 설치 고려(훨씬 밝아지고 스위치 부담 감소).

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
