Its true, I love my D3. Its fantastic and it gets better every day.I felt sorry for my brother last week who was faced with driving his full fat V8 diesel range rover to Cornwall and back.A round trip with side adventures of just less than 1000 miles. Thats £450 of diesel I would think, as its £170 to fill the thing up.He has had it from new and it has been a good car, even with 165,000 miles on the clock. He looks after it. Still looks and drives more or less like new. Its all he has driven for 8 years, he is no petrol head.I lent him the 26' Model 3 Long Range with a full charge, which got his family from Lincoln to Exeter with a fair bit to spare. He then added a couple of charges over 5 days and gave it back to me on his return, I noticed he had put about £45 in it on the app.I gave him no special instructions, he has never driven an electric car before in his life. He loved it.He now has his name down for a new one. Unfortunately, Tesla have sold everything until the end of Q1 27', so he is going to have to wait a bit.On Mercedes coupe news, it now runs. I am moving with reassembly, trying to get it on the key before it goes to the painter.
