증상
2005 BMW 320D 앞 우측 휠에서 문지르는 소음 발생(200마일/1개월 전부터). 부드러운 아스팔트에서 저속 주행 시 특히 두드러지며, 고속도로에서도 약간의 문지르는 소음 감지됨. 휠을 들어 회전시키면 회전할 때마다 특정 지점에서 문지르는 소음이 들리며, 약 2회전 정도만 가능할 정도로 타이트함. 반대편은 자유롭게 회전함. 휠을 제거하고 디스크를 손으로 회전시켜도 동일한 현상 발생.
처리 내용
먼저 로터 변형이나 손상을 의심할 수 있음. 로터 표면이 부식되거나 글레이징되어 나머지 부분보다 매끄럽거나 거칠어진 경우도 있음. 두 경우 모두 로터를 '턴'(대부분의 자동차 부품점이나 머신샵에서 $30 미만으로 시공)하여 진단 가능. 변형된 경우 턴 작업 중 명확히 드러나며, 숙련된 샵에서 알려줄 것임. 표면 손상인 경우 스크래핑되지만 원인을 알 수 없을 수도 있음. 어느 쪽이든 문제가 해결될 것. 다만 문제의 원인을 파악하는 것이 중요함. 부적절하게 설치된 브레이크 캘리퍼가 원인인 경우, 로터를 교정해도 캘리퍼가 다시 변형시킬 수 있으므로, 최초 원인을 파악하고 확인하는 것이 좋음. 브레이크 계통인지 먼저 확인하는 것이 최선의 방법.

Mr Tidy said: When they came out I thought the E61 looked far less offensive than the E60, but with time I'm coming round to both of them. Maybe latest BMW models are a factor too! I suspect an Auto 525i isn't going to be a ball of fire - probably why I replaced my 325i with a 330i after just a year - but if you got a year out of it for that money it's a decent Shed. Although with new injectors costing over £500 each and potential HPFP issues maybe it's a Brave Pill as much as a Shed! The first E6*s had the M54 and then the N52 so one of those would be a safer bet, even if it cost a bit more.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.
