증상
Mercedes Benz C250에서 시동을 걸려고 할 때마다 점화 스위치에서 키를 제거하라는 메시지가 나타나고 엔진이 시동되지 않음. 배터리 교체 및 튠업 완료 후에도 증상 지속.
처리 내용
MB 모델들에서 매우 흔한 증상입니다. W204 (07-15 C클래스)로 가정하면 가장 일반적인 원인들은 다음과 같습니다: 1) 키나 EIS의 적외선 신호를 차단하는 먼지 - 키의 빨간색 플라스틱 부분과 EIS를 청소해보세요. 2) 손상된 키 - 키를 흔들어서 딸깍거리는 소리가 나는지 확인하고, 있다면 다른 키나 MB 정품 키를 시도해보세요. 3) EIS와 키 간 동기화 상실 4) 가장 흔한 원인: ESL(전자식 스티어링 락) 고장 - 일반적으로 모터가 고장납니다. 키와 EIS 청소로 해결되지 않으면 신뢰할 수 있는 독립 MB 정비소를 방문하시기 바랍니다. 2-4번 항목들은 DIY 불가능합니다.

My neighbour had the 2.4 5 pot in her Fiat something or other estate. Sounded very nice, Audi Quattro-ish.She was the quintessential Hyasyth Bucket type. Later she bought a Smart and kept telling me it was made by Mercedes 'don't you know'.

Glad you're ok, and a warm welcome to the 'Small car vs Mercedes 4x4' club. Membership is now 2 of us . I was in my Smart Fortwo and got rear ended by a Mercedes ML. Hopefully the Twizy is fixable.

Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure
