Its been a while and progress has been steady. I was hoping to have had it tuned by now but just been so busy with work.Alot has been done. The Maxx ecu is fully wired in now and working. It talks to the car with no issue so everything works like standard. No faults on the dash etc. All dials work.A friend made me a 3d printed gauge mount for the canchecked lcd gauge. Great little thing. Enables me to see all the parameters I want with out having to fit an aftermarket dash.Also fitted an android headunit that has a stock look too it. Impressed with it so far. Wrapped all the wood trim with satin vinyl. Also fitted the F series gear selector.Carbon magnetic paddle shifters.Spent a day mocking up and tacking the exhast system together.Then fully welded up and fitted. I used 3.5 inch to twin 2.5 inch. Sounds nice with valves open but reasonably quiet with them shut. Exhaust will be hidden behind the bumper. So the car will have a sleeper look to it.Finally bought some tyres. I went with 295 30 19 on the Rears and 255 35 19 up front in continental sport contact 7sIm in. The workshop this evening online with my tuner who is in Texas. So hopefully getting last few bits setup so I can get it on the dyno for tuning in the next few weeks.

Mr Tidy said: When they came out I thought the E61 looked far less offensive than the E60, but with time I'm coming round to both of them. Maybe latest BMW models are a factor too! I suspect an Auto 525i isn't going to be a ball of fire - probably why I replaced my 325i with a 330i after just a year - but if you got a year out of it for that money it's a decent Shed. Although with new injectors costing over £500 each and potential HPFP issues maybe it's a Brave Pill as much as a Shed! The first E6*s had the M54 and then the N52 so one of those would be a safer bet, even if it cost a bit more.

Haha hadn’t noticed the Psychic College sign Thanks Simon on the brakes recommendation also along with spec upgrades on the B8.5 - didn’t know that.Throw in some Ohlins or KW’s and you could have quite the weapon!
In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.
