증상
92 Civic DX의 간헐적 에어컨 작동 불량 (수 년 지속). 제어판에 압력을 가하면 정상 작동하는 경우가 많음. 시스템이 식으면 정상 작동 복구됨. 진단 결과: 에어컨 스위치에서 나가는 파란색/빨간색 배선(제어판 → 에어컨 써모스탯 → 콘덴서 팬 릴레이 및 에어컨 클러치 릴레이로 연결)과 차체 간에 +3~+9V의 전압 감지됨. 명백한 전기 문제.
처리 내용
BMW 시스템의 경우 파이널 스테이지 저항(Final Stage Resistor)이 고장나면 유사한 증상 발생: 항상 풀 스피드 작동, 작동 중단, 간헐적 작동 등. 이 부품 교체로 정상 복구됨. Honda Civic의 경우도 유사한 전자 제어 모듈이나 릴레이 접점 불량 의심. 제어판 커넥터와 릴레이 접점 상태 점검 필요.

With the untimely death of my daily Ford Focus Estate Titanium X recently it was time to find a new daily. For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car. re. the refrigerant - If you take the car to Quik-Fit they will empty the system for free (probably best to ring first to check but I've done it on a few cars..). This is actually a requirement if you work on the AC system of a car as the gas is pretty nasty for you and the environment.Once that's done it's pretty simple, just nuts n bolts but do fit a replacement drier though if you're opening the system up.
