Sofa said: Intrigued to see what you think of the Eventuri plenum... I keep listening to comparisons and I can't quite fathom it being worth the £3k, especially since mine (standard apart from a 'modstock' backbox') already sounds pretty incredbile to my ears. Admittedly, my car has had nowhere near the amount of money yours has had spent on it, so induction noise is lower down on my list of priorities...I'm really interested to hear as well now The carbon intake really changed the bark on the car, so it's possible this will make no difference ha!

I hope you don't mind me indulging myself with a few more photos of the rest of my trip.I travelled on from the autobahns to the alps (I had ChatGPT put together a route of alpine passes I hadn't done so far). Not a bad place to take a morning swim. I stayed in Solden, where the James Bond 007 Elements Experience is. Several cable cars take you to 3,048m up. A lot of the filming of the alpine scenes were done around here, and the canny Austrians clearly got the filmmakers to build a spectacular facility as a price for this filming. I suspect to bolster their summer tourist potential.It's spectacular. 64 euros to go up the mountain including the experience. But boy is it quite something. I won't post spoilers of the experience - but I really enjoyed it. If you are a movie/bond/view fan it's well worth it. They have a fantastic restauarant - worth skipping breakfast and doing lunch here. Not cheap, but incredible viewsThe most spectacular pee I've ever had!Edited by 0a on Sunday 5th July 22:40

I've always love BMWs, my uncle had an E36 318i Touring when I was a kid and I loved it, that was where my obsession with them began. Over the years I've liked pretty much every BMW made, some took a few years for me to grow to like but even the modern ones still get my appreciation. Out of all those cars though, there were 2 that really stood out to me as special cars, the E60 M5 and the E90 M3. In my opinion a golden era of BMW design and build quality. These two in particular attracted me because of their (perhaps vague) links to the BMW F1 involvement at the time, the nerd in me loved it.

Whilst scrolling through Facebook market place (please don't judge me!) I discovered this Riley 1.5, a car I know very little about and thought it had a charm about it that I liked. I kept scrolling but would see it popping up for about a week and a half.About a week into the occasional glance and some wishful thinking about the sort of car I would turn it into I showed Mrs. Jim.
