Spectacular.I was heavily involved with E24's about 25 years ago and they were frightfully rusty things then, time hasn't been kind. This build and Yorkshire Car Restoration's work on Matt Armstrong's one is tempering my desire to revisit them. Great to see though, enjoying living vicariously through you.

The front wings:The work on the dashboard in the post above was done in-between working on the front wings.When I originally got the car I decided to buy some fibreglass front wings because it was never my intention to make my own composite bodywork, had I known at the time I would have kept my original front wings and used them to take a mould from,but as they were in poor condition I scrapped them. Unfortunately the company that I was going to buy my front wings (and bumpers) from must have gone out of business because although their website is still up you can't order anything from it and emails don't get replied to. This left me in a bit of a predicament, no front wings to take a mould from and no source for new ones. A lot of internet searching revealed two sources in Europe, one in Spain and one in the Czech Republic. I'm guessing the Spanish guy couldn't be bothered to reply and the Czech guy wouldn't export to the UK because since Brexit there is simply too much paperwork to fill in......... thanks Boris! Fortunately for me I have a cousin who lives in Sicily so I was able to order them and have them sent there and then sent to me by my cousin, it meant I had to pay twice for shipping but at this point I was just glad to be able to get any at all.Once they arrived I was eager to try them on the car but unfortunately the right one was miles out of shape. With the swage line of the door lined up with the front wing the top of the wing was about 10mm too low at the back and about 5mm to high at the front......not good.After a little thinking about it the only option was to slice the wing and then hold it in position whilst fibreglassing it from the back. After that it was a case of filling it smooth. Whilst I was at it I also decided to cut some vents in the wings tooOnce the filling work was done I primed them and after flatting them smooth I painted them body colour.Once the paint had time to cure I fitted them to the car.I had previously spent some time work

BMW 318 TDS 가솔유 연료펌프(프리펌프)가 밀폐된 연료탱크 내부에 장착되어 있고, 12V 전기가 공급되는 소형 모터를 포함하고 있습니다. 모터 내부에서 스파크가 발생할 수 있고, 연료탱크 내에 공기가 있으면 폭발할 위험이 있는데 어떻게 폭발 위험 없이 작동하는지 이해가 안 됨. (주유 시 휴대전화 사용을 금지하는 것과의 모순)

Whilst scrolling through Facebook market place (please don't judge me!) I discovered this Riley 1.5, a car I know very little about and thought it had a charm about it that I liked.
