탭펫(리프터)의 종류와 장단점에 대한 질문: 솔리드 탭펫, 유압 리프터, 롤러 탭펫의 차이점은? 리프터가 없으면서 밸브를 구동하는 다른 방식의 엔진 구성이 있는가?

프론트 스태빌라이저 바의 마모된 부싱을 교체하기 위해 구입한 부싱 세트에 그리스나 윤활제가 포함되어 있지 않음. 제조사에서 재질을 명시하지 않았지만 타이어 냄새가 남. 설치 전 윤활이 필요한지, 어떤 종류의 윤활제를 사용해야 하는지 궁금함.

5기통 볼보 V70 2.5L 터보 엔진을 6기통 S80 2.9L 트윈터보 엔진으로 교체했습니다. 원래 5기통은 터보 1개, 파이프 1개, 대형 캐털릭 컨버터 1개였습니다. O2 센서는 캐트 전 1개, 캐트 상단 1개였습니다. 6기통은 트윈터보라서 파이프 2개가 있고, 각각 자신의 캐트가 있으며 중형 캐트 바로 전에 합쳐집니다(1+1=2). 각 파이프의 캐트 전에 O2 센서가 있습니다. 다른 2개는 중형 캐트 바로 뒤에 있는 것 같습니다. 배기 시스템을 어떻게 처리해야 할지 고민입니다.

더 큰 휠을 장착할 때 +1, +2, +3인치 타이어를 사용하면 차량에 어떤 영향을 미치는가? 서스펜션과 핸들링에 부정적인 영향을 주는가?

Subaru Legacy 5.0i 올휠드라이브 왜건의 우측 회전 중 뒷바퀴 타이어가 연석에 부딪혔고, 20분 후 펑크됨. 사이드월에 L자 모양의 컷이 있으며, 완전히 관통하지는 않았지만 코드가 노출되어 있고 더 이상 에어 타이트하지 않음.

Without knowing the price per litre, this (surely) has to be a positive development?The UK (and European) Governments need to have a sliding methodology towards phasing our fossil fuels entirely. This seems, on the face of it, a means to do just that, that will (should) also gain support from petrolheads.

2009 쉐보레 아베오에서 배터리 경고등과 주차 브레이크 경고등이 켜짐. 주행 중 전기 부품들이 순차적으로 작동 중지 - 타코미터(0으로 떨어짐) → 연료/수온 게이지 → 와이퍼(느린 속도) → 라디오 → 대시보드 조명. 각 부품이 30~60초 간격으로 꺼짐.

매니폴드와 다운파이프에서 작은 누수(수 mm 크기)가 발생함. 미국 제조 레어 차량(99년식 Civic VTi)이고 영국에 있어서 부품 구하기가 어려움. 정비소에서는 부품을 교체해야 하며 임시방편으로는 효과가 없다고 함.

드라이브샤프트 교환

코일오버로 전체적으로 45-50mm 낮춘 차량에서 드라이브샤프트 베어링이 4-5개월마다 양쪽 모두 교체가 필요할 정도로 빠르게 손상됨. 낮아진 차량으로 인한 드라이브샤프트의 각도 문제가 원인으로 보임.

시빅에서 지난 6개월간 오일 2L 손실(과도한 것으로 보임). 이전 오일 교환 시 정비소에서 0w30은 너무 묽다고 해서 5w30 사용 권장받음. 5w30 사용 후 소비량 증가. 고급 오일 사용, 연 2회 교환(약 12,000km 간격). 피스톤 링 손상 우려. 엔진을 자주 레드라인까지 고회전 운전. 엔진은 항상 약간의 오일 소비(10,000km당 약 1L).

1997 폰티악 보네빌 SSE (3.8L GM 3800-II 엔진)가 몇 주 전 냉각수 부족으로 과열되었고, 냉각수를 보충한 후 유압 게이지가 비정상적으로 작동함. 정상 범위는 약 60 PSI이나, 현재 80 PSI 주변에서 시작하여 100 PSI 이상으로 올라갔다가 40 PSI까지 떨어지는 등 불규칙하게 변동 중.
