We've had twins, to go with our 4 year old, and for various reasons have had to sell my beloved Discovery 4 (which would have otherwise been the perfect family car). We are also selling my wife's C class (too small) . We have, in their place, bought a 2013 VW Touran. My 31 old BMW 5 series is thankfully staying, and will be getting some much needed attention.We've been focussed on the house this year, so unfortunately choice of car had to be relatively cheap to buy, and economical to run.My wife and I are both depressed that we've effectively downgraded from our nice cars to the Touran. We've had twins, to go with our 4 year old, and for various reasons have had to sell my beloved Discovery 4 (which would have otherwise been the perfect family car). We are also selling my wife's C class (too small) . We have, in their place, bought a 2013 VW Touran. Paperwork, bills, receipts, some more paperwork, spec sheets, sales literature... depending on what you consider 'history' pertaining to your car it's easy to watch a mountain of paper stack up. I certainly have, but I know some of you have sprawling mountains of paperwork relating to your fleet. How do you store it? I know of online services like Patina but I'm thinking more about the actual paperwork than a digital paper trail.Up until now I've been using two ring binders - one for each car - to file their histories away, but I am curious if there's a better way. What do you do?

Can't quite recall the sequence/timeline of our first child arriving and being forced to do without a car altogether.Probably for 12 or 18 months we managed without a car at all, had to sell my beloved Ventora to make the mortgage payments, i went to work in all weathers on my mothers old Batavus moped which she no longer rode.Saw a Landcrab advertised for sale with slipping clutch, IIRC paid £80 for it and replaced the clutch on the road outside our house, the single short driveway being too steep for the job, later on when it blew a hydrolastic pipe i made use of that slope via a ramp of pal

I would not be surprised if it his £40m if the right set of billionaires are bidding. Musk owns an F1 Zuckerberg a Koniggsegge and Gates an XJ220 so its not like their wont be people with deep pockets who like very rare cars. The Mercedes I've csr reached 100m I can't see this doing that but 30m maybe or 40m I mean if you are worth 10bn plus why not

Your kids are going to trash your car, they can't help it, it's just what they do. At some point you'll hand one of them a little packet of breadsticks as a car snack and it will never be the same again. Don't worry about the car you convey them in. Buy a little car vac and teach them to use it. When they're a bit bigger and know how to keep a car neat and tidy then swap back in to something more fun.

Having previously owned two of these wonderful cars and seen the prices rise this one seems a relatively good price with all the work done. Not my choice with the wood trim and they look so much better with CSL alloys in my opinion but very nice indeed!
