We have mandated vehicle features for "safety" and for the environment.How about legislation to force "maintainability". So EGR valves/turbos whatever would need to be highly accessible and easy to clean out. I'm not sure how I'd define maintainability but I can certainly see it when it's missing!

So I've bought another XJ-S, and this time it's the XJ-S that starred in the recent Sky series 'Curfew', which stars Sean Bean (who drives this car). I really like the look of this. The price is still a shock but I suppose that's normal these days. The government and whoever is in charge should be doing everything possible to push the smaller, more sensible town-style cars. Rather than massive cars which just don't fit the roadsThese look nimble, economical and nice too

Back in 2001 my first car was loaned to me by my parents (they bought it for my sister, she went to uni, I was given use of it etc, the usual) and it was a 1.1i in red, 1998 R plate, key code immobilises (9681 for the record, my sisters birthday obviously) and 3 stud wheels (were they all?)
