I've been pretty lucky with my car purchases over the years as most of my 20+ cars have been reliable and not required much outside routine maintenance.  My last car, a 2016 Golf TSI Estate was particularly good having been in my ownership for c. 6 years and 100,000 miles and honestly didn't miss a beat.  I have only had to give up on 3 cars in that time: a mk4 Golf Gti that had been pretty niggly and then spectacularly failed its first MOT, a WJ Jeep Grand Cherokee that had been pretty unreliable and then its automatic transmission failed and my R56 MINI Cooper, which had some engine issues t

브레이크 슬라이드 핀이 브래킷에 고착되어 있었음. 세척 후 윤활유를 바르려고 했는데 평소 사용하던 실리콘 페이스트가 떨어져서 튠업에서 남은 유전체 그리스(다이엘렉트릭 그리스)를 대신 사용함. 실리콘과 유전체 그리스를 호환해서 사용할 수 있는지 궁금함 (스파크 플러그에 실리콘 그리스, 슬라이드 핀에 유전체 그리스 등).

변속기 오일 교환

전기차와 하이브리드차가 왜 자동변속기만 사용하는지 이해하려고 함. 일반 휘발유/디젤 엔진은 토크 범위가 좁아서 변속기가 필요하지만, 전기모터는 처음부터 최대토크가 나오므로 변속기가 불필요해 보임. 하이브리드는 이유를 모르겠음.

The 2013 Honda Accord has both 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder cars, however, only the 4 cylinder cars have a continuously variable transmission (CVT). I was wondering... is there any particular reason for this?

Fiat 126p 변속기(기어박스와 디퍼렌셜이 통합된 유닛)가 코너링 중 완전히 기어가 빠지면서 디퍼렌셜 영역에서 심한 딱딱거리는 소음 발생. 차를 들어올린 후 1단에 넣고 한쪽 바퀴를 돌리면 딱딱거리는 소음이 재현되지만 다른 쪽 바퀴는 움직이지 않음. 유닛을 분해한 후 링기어를 지지하는 디퍼렌셜 베어링 중 하나가 손상된 것을 발견.

아침에 차를 시동했는데 파크에서 움직일 수 없습니다. 기어를 전혀 변속할 수 없습니다. 바퀴는 움직일 수 있습니다. 손상이 걱정되어 강제로 움직이지 않았습니다.

볼보 Amazon, 164, 144 등 구형 모델들의 웜 앤 섹터(worm and sector) 스티어링 시스템 사용. 새로운 부시 장착 후에도 스티어링 시스템에 항상 유격(play)이 존재. 바퀴가 평행할 때 데드 포인트(dead point) 발생. 랙 앤 피니언(rack and pinion) 시스템과 비교하면 조향 성능이 현저히 떨어짐.

터보 키트 장착 등 엔진 성능 개선 작업 시 스파크 플러그 열 범위(heat range) 선택에 대한 이해 필요. 핫 플러그와 콜드 플러그의 차이점과 특성에 대한 질문.

1996 보르텍스 엔진에 2행정 해양용 오일 약 0.5갤런을 가득 찬 휘발유 탱크(약 45갤런)에 첨가한 후 시동이 걸리지 않음. 엔진 저장 가능 여부와 시동 방법 확인 필요. 오염된 휘발유 처리 방법과 스파크 플러그 8개 전체 교체 필요 여부 문의.

상단 부시가 손상된 것으로 보임. 2년 미만 사용했으나 마모된 타이로드 엔드를 오래 사용했던 것으로 인해 서스펜션 다른 부품들도 손상되었을 것으로 예상됨. 다른 부시들의 상태 확인 방법이 필요함.

I've always thought of these as good looking cars and the design doesn't look nigh on 20 years old.My one main (personal) drawback with them is that they are only a 4 seater and with 3 kids and a wife it would limit as to when we could use it.Preference would be for the 2.0T petrol version over this as ULEZ, no DPF etc, but it wears its 167k mileage well.

With the current A4 Avant having served Mrs89 well as a great allrounder... mechanically she's been without fault and has proved her worth. Exterior wise, she has suffered and looks great from 10 feet away but there's a complaint on every panel... the nail in the coffin was a side swipe from an errant deer (it didn't end well for the deer) the time has come to say farewell....Wanting something bigger as her car is the family wagon as we all can't fit in the S5...This arrives Saturday morningit's a 2010, 3.0TDi, so the substantially cheaper tax bracket...needs tyres (ordered a set of Nankangs)o

직분사(DI) 엔진의 흡기 밸브에 카본이 쌓여 있습니다. 흡기 밸브 세정제를 사용할 때 떨어져 나온 카본 덩어리가 배기계통을 통해 흘러가면서 촉매변환기(캐탈릭 컨버터)나 배기 시스템을 손상시킬 수 있는지 우려됩니다. 흡기 밸브 세정제의 효과를 테스트하기 위해 제품 사용 전후로 흡기 밸브를 검사하려고 합니다.

2004 F150의 배기 행거가 녹슬어 없어졌고, 뒤쪽 마지막 행거(러버 아이솔레이터 포함)만 남아있음. 배기 파이프가 회전하면서 테일파이프가 뒷바퀴 뒤의 승객측 리어 쿼터 패널에 닿음. 여러 행거를 시도했지만 포장도로에서의 부드러운 주행에도 불구하고 몇 주 후에 손상됨. 배기가 회전하지 않도록 하는 내구성 있고 부식 저항성이 높은 행거 필요 (미시간 염설 도로)

아버지의 2008년식 오펠 아스트라 F 차량의 뒷 브레이크 로터에 두꺼운 녹이 슬어 있습니다. 두 브레이크 로터가 거의 동일합니다. 패드가 녹슨 부분이 아닌 부분만 덮고 있을 가능성이 있을까요, 아니면 항상 브레이킹 문제의 징후일까요?

A4 Avant 외부 손상 많음 (사슴과의 측면 충돌 포함). 새 차량은 2010년식 3.0TDi 모델이며, 타이어 교체 필요 (Nankang 타이어 주문함).

머플러 교환

VW Golf MK4 BCB 엔진에 배기 프론트 파이프(1J0254300P)와 촉매변환기를 교체한 후, 1800-1900 rpm 구간에서 진동이 발생. 전반적으로 진동이 증가했으며, 특히 2단 기어에서 가파른 내리막길을 엔진 브레이킹으로 내려갈 때(RPM이 2000에서 1700으로 서서히 감소) 가장 심함. 디스플레이에 '0 l/100km'이 표시되어 ECU가 연료를 공급하지 않음을 확인했으므로 점화계통 문제는 아님.

머플러 교환

시동이 잘 걸리지 않으며 엔진이 불규칙하게 작동합니다. 배기파이프에서 휘발유 냄새가 납니다. 체크 엔진 경고등이 켜져 있습니다. 엔진 교체 후 89,000마일입니다.

볼보 XC60

246 (2017-현재) · B5 AWD

머플러 교환

볼보 2.0 디젤 Siemens VDO - 엔진이 데워진 후 4~6단에서 1800~2200rpm 범위에서 차량이 진동함. 경고등 없음. 진단 결과 연료 압력이 지속적으로 오르내림. 안정적인 주행 시에만 발생하며, 가속하거나 엑셀을 놓으면 증상 사라짐. 1~3단에서는 진동 없음. 인젝터 점검(정상), 연료 압력 레귤레이터 교체 후에도 증상 지속. 연료 라인 에어, DPF 재생 문제 의심.

드럼 브레이크의 복원 스프링과 달리 디스크 브레이크에서는 브레이크 페달 해제 후 유체가 어떻게 저수지로 돌아가는지 불명확함. 비디오 타임스탬프에서 리턴 스프링이 보이지 않음.
