During replacement of Brake Light Switch, observed that original switch nut was installed up-side-down. Replaced switch, because vehicle intermittently would not go into gear. It is highly likely that brake lights were also not working intermittently. Vehicle only had 20K miles and I assume it came from Factory with the switch nut installed up-side-down. This condition allows the brake switch to be misaligned.

When vehicle is stopped from slow speeds, the car lurches to a stop because the brakes grab much harder than the pressure being applied to the brake pedal would indicate. These touchy brakes can alarm passengers in the vehicle and pedestrians near the vehicle causing them to be frightened that the vehicle hit something. Toyota developed a fix for this problem which is described by T-SB-0033-20 but the fix was not published until 4/8/20 (less than 6 months before my 36 month warranty expired) and was only applicable to vehicles in warranty so when I discovered the fix, my car was out of warrant

Vehicle was in stop and go traffic on I94 when pressing the brake pedal it failed. Second try with both feet and pedal again went to the floor with no resulting stopping power. Found article Toyota has begun recall of Camry's due to failure of Power Boost. Warnings did not show up on display until vehicle was about 10 feet from another vehicle showing failure of ICS system and see dealer. Also another warning saying Advanced Ultrasonic Detecting Ranging System Malfunction regarding Intelligence Clearance Sonar and to see dealer.

on Feb 20, 2023, during my evening lunch break about 7:30 pm, I drove my car to a nearby gas station to fill it. As I was attempting to back into place, my brakes froze and a "Low Braking Power" message appears in my dash and my car hit a pole because it would not stop. I purchased a brand new 2018 toyota camry le with nothing but problems from the beginning. The brakes have been bad from day 1. The make noise when braking and they supposedly fixed it. Last May I took my 2018 Camry in due to "low braking Power" light coming on. Toyota informed me that it was part of a recall and they did not know how long it would take. 2018 Toyota camry hybrid at a stop sign the car would not engage into drive while it was on ""D" when I let my foot off the brake to hit the gas, the cars "BRAKE HOLD system" failed. Replaced brakes in June on the 19th, 23rd and my brakes are squeaking and goes all the way to the floor sometimes before my brakes actually works. I have take my car back to Toyota twice and they said nothing is wrong with my car. This is a safety hazard and needs to be addressed so it can be fixed IMMEDIATELY!!!

I bought a new car back in June this year and the car comes with summer performance tires. I live in Minnesota and now it's December, so I really want to get snow tires installed instead of driving in summer tires (since I've read that this may damage the treads). So my question: is it a good idea to keep the summer tires I have and buy new snow tires and mount them for now and when the winter is over, put those summer tires back on? I know nothing about mounting tires, so I'm concerned that changing tires every year would damage the wheels.
