dhutch said: The boot space is one of the worst bits of an SUV isnt it. The XC60 has less boot space than the V60.The V60 was about 10% cheaper new, and had around 10% more boot volume. However it has around 30% more boot area/length. Despight only being 2inches longer. Or something like that. Its almost as though everyone foolishy buys an SUV on the sole criteria of bootspace eh.

Hi All,I own a 2004 MX-5, which I recently paid £3000 for welding and £1400 for an underside repaint, seal and cavity wax.The insurance comparison sites say my car is worth £1500, however prices online vary wildly from £1000 for a rust bucket to £10,000 for a pristine low milage example. My car has 63k miles, so lower than average and is in excellent condition, as well as having a rare beige leather and wood trim interior, wooden steering wheel etc.MX-5s of this age can look near mint externally, but small bubbles on the sills will usually hide a much bigger problem because the rust starts in

Difficult to say that this bunch justify their punchy price points if the intention is to buy and use them as intended, as adding any significant miles will kill the value.Equally happy to own any if paying with someone else's money apart from the Renault...Squidgy windows was a turn off 20years ago and still cannot justify it in the name of weight saving today.

This is the guy who does the Career Ladder videos on socials (he talks to someone for 2 minutes and has to find out what their job is). A while back Nathalie McGloin went up to him and asked to play, and she did. Then he injured his leg somehow (fell off a ladder?). Those two things got him to do videos on disabled careers, and this is the first one.

A great read, not done the whole Wild Atlantic Way but I’ve been to Dingle for a conference many times and always drive rather than fly. The first time the sun dawned halfway across Ireland and I caught my breath on sight of the Emerald Isle. Want to explore further north towards Galway.Dingle once had a pub for every 11 members of the male population and is still well served. Great restaurants too. The Blasket Centre is worthwhile and one year I must get a boat to Skellig Michael, Luke Skywalker’s island retreat in the Disney Star Wars films. Great place, good times.Edited by Baddie on Sunday

I don't want to blow smoke up McLaren's you know what, but I think they could beat that using carbon fibre lightness and turbo V8 power. Here's hoping they get the chance to showcase their skills.Edit: With no guidance on what an SUV is anymore; assume four doors, all wheel drive, a bump in ride height and plastic wheel arch cladding qualifies nowadays, but willing to be corrected.Edited by mjspencer348 on Thursday 17th September 20:35 That's not a GT, that's just the "cooking" YU7

I was looking around the supermarket carpark in dispair today. If you built 1999 Mondeo 1.8 Hatches today and sold them for 25k you'd sell them by the million. Cars have gone dramatically backwards.Am I right?

Great list of cars but the pricing is insane! I personally would buy the normal version and modify it for a fraction of the cost and wouldn’t be afraid of using it.

Or would i have a fight on my hands, like you generally do with insurance company's, when making a claim for a written-off daily car. Has anyone on here actually received the full "agreed value" on a written-off classic ? That’s the whole point of agreed value - it does what it says on the tin. They have charged you a premium based on said value. The value had to be justified in the first place and so

The 8v engine was a very nice all round engine for torque and smoothness and the car felt a bit more solid compared to other hot hatches of the time.
