635CSi 수동 변속기(dog leg), LSD 장착 차량. 광범위한 녹슬음 문제. 이전 소유자들이 차량 상태에 놀라 판매. 내부 윙은 상태가 양호하나 내부 실(inner sill)에 심각한 녹슬음. 이전 수리에서 용접 대신 접착제로 강철 패널을 붙인 부실 수리 발견. 바닥판(floor) 상태 매우 악화.

차량 전반 검사 완료. 쇼크 2개 고장(전방 1개, 후방 1개 - 후방이 심각함). ARB 링크 상태 불량. 배기 히트 실드 전부 고장. 엔진 좌측 하단부 오일 누유(타이밍 케이스 추정). 워셔액 분사 불량. 서브프레임 녹슬음. 드라이버 도어 페인트 박함.

엔진이 작동 온도에 도달하기 전에 시동을 끄면(키를 돌려서 끄는 것) 어떤 손상이 발생하는지 궁금함. 아버지로부터 엔진을 충분히 워밍업한 후에 끌 것을 강조받았지만 그 이유를 모름.

Thought I'd introduce my pride and joy to Pistonheads! It's not quick, but it makes all the right noises and makes me smile even as a daily drive Bought as a shed, I went out to buy a Focus for the wife with £5K borrowed from her Dad and came back with a rusty 911....A few pictures of the motor at various stages of it's life in my hands:My first Curborough track day with this car back in 2002, my previous experience round here in a variety of modified MK2 Golfs counted for nothing! How have I only just noticed this thread? Brilliant stuff. I remember when my mum's boss bought a brand new red M635csi, it would have been around 85 or 86. Loved them ever since - one of, if not the best looking BMWs ever made IMO.

Hi,I’m not underpaid by any means, and when I started in my profession one of the things I looked forward to was being able to purchase nicer cars once I had become established and experienced with the associated remuneration.The Covid response packages saw to it that cars (and other goods) shot up in price both new and second hand, out stripping the salary increases of many.Where or who are affording these 50 plus k cars these days which were previously 20 to 30 k to buy? Eg 5 series, 3 series, A6, A5, performance m sport models (not full on m cars obv) etc etc I ask because relatively speak

They said no roof at all, but why are there what look like fixings in the header rail? Still, quite like it.

Well if the hatch is roughly £50k the mid engined one would be approaching £65k I'd imagine. Can't see the business case at that level but then again what competitors would it have?

에어컨 켠 직후 5분 정도 식초/마요네즈 섞인 냄새가 나다가 자동으로 사라짐. 실내 에어필터나 에어컨 드레인 시스템 문제 의심.

What is the difference between the cheapest fuels in a place like Tesco's and the 'high quality', highly priced competitors? Is there actually any noticeable difference in available power, engine smoothness, efficiency, maintenance costs etc? Personally I've always used the cheapest I can just because I don't know what the difference is that I would be paying for! Can anyone justify their use of an expensive fuel having had a bad experience with a cheap fuel in their car in the past?

When I go visit my brother in Australia we go pretty much everywhere by plane. It is so much easier. Cars are just for the city or an hour in either direction.

Wow amazing work. Will you leave any of the carbon showing a la e46 CSL? as there aren't any gutters I guess it's a bit tricky to create a clean edge...certainly a decent weight saving and a smart way of getting rid of a leaky old sunroof.

Many people recommend spraying Lysol Disinfectant Spray or similar products into the HVAC intake to kill mold and bad odors inside HVAC. Should the AC be on or off for this procedure? As far as I can tell, the evaporator coil is the most likely location of mold growth. If the AC is on, the coil will be cool, and stuff will condense on it. So it makes sense to run the AC for a while before you spray Lysol into the HVAC intake. However, I haven't seen this bit being mentioned. Does this make sense?
