Never driven one but always thought they were a good looking little car. At the sort of money being talked about here it could be an interesting left field choice.

I took a flight to Heathrow on Tuesday and drove 420 miles home in a lovely shade of willow green V70 2.5TIt turned over 64,007 when I arrived homeI filled the tank in Slough with 63.4 litres of BP Ultimate and once home OBC says I averaged 33.5mpg (it was at 37.4 before I got stuck in traffic going round Birmingham) and the OBC now says I can still drive another 115 miles. It had a fresh MOT on Monday with a couple of advisories for cracks in the rear tyres. Wasn’t the R’s engine so modified by Peugeot sport that it didn’t suffer the usual prince engine issues? Same as the 208 gti Peugeot sport?

It's an ugly duckling of a car, which you could overlook at 30k, but harder at 100k+

I guess it’s a sign of the times but nearly £10k for a 11 year old Clio feels punchy. I was interested in one back 9/10 years ago and they were the same price then. I’d have the Fiesta now though, nice aftermarket options too on that.

Not that magical except I wasnt trying. If I'd seen it coming I'd have been watching it closely and trying to work out where I would stop to take a picture to not post here as it wasn't going to be good enough. Hi all! Bought this 540i back in March of this year and have loved getting to know it! I ve done a few easy things, removed M5 replica mirrors for the standard ones and taken off the wind deflectors as not to my personal taste. Done a Major service with gearbox fluid and fuel filter replaced, new chain tensioner and a couple of airflow sensors needed. It s currently in hibernation getting new sills, wings and a full respray and a full coolant system renewal. I ll add some progress photosEdited by rorynash96 on Sunday 7th December 20:02
