I used to work in Marlow which had width restriction bollards at each end of the bridge (they've been removed now, so it's just a kerb instead which is bad but not quite as bad). In theory, they were 2m at both ends of the bridge, but I discovered that these could be adjusted (and had been adjusted) so that one end was wider. This meant that vehicles slightly wider than 2m could get on the bridge, but couldn't get off the other side...I had to help take them off at the narrower end because a Land Rover towing a trailer with a bull in it had got through one end of the

Also saw a Zonda in the same situation - fit onto the bridge, but got wedged trying to get off the other end where the restrictors hadn't been widened. When were they removed? I was there in July, and they were in place then. Horrid things - they had a top that jutted inward on both sides which somehow made it more difficult to judge. I was in my Aston going to the Compleat Angler. The next day, I went the other way to Henley.Google told me they'd been removed, but maybe not. Take a large spanner or wrench and you can remove/move the top bit that juts inwards. Or yeah just go the other way via the Henley side, avoids the town centre too.Or just avoid the Compleat Angler...

18 year old v8 RR Sport, are they bringing back the brave pill?

I've chucked 16k a year on mine for the last couple of years commuting to Sussex. It's in for a quieter life now I've got an EV for the commute but I love it, it's not going anywhere. Please accept my apologies if I haven't been paying attention, but are you saying that you pay a garage £16,000.00 a year and you think they are a good garage?I think he’s chucked on 16k miles a year on the car.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
