2000 Mazda Milenia S Millennium edition에서 약 20분 주행 후 엔진이 2500 RPM 이상으로 회전하지 않음. 가속 페달을 끝까지 밟아도 2500 RPM을 넘지 않으며, 전자적으로 제한되는 것처럼 느껴짐. 시동 후 처음 20분 정도는 정상 주행되고 기계적 결함은 없는 것으로 보임.

2001 Acura TL에서 핸들이 중립 위치에 있을 때 좌우로 약간만 꺾을 때만 삐걱거리는 소음 발생. 주차 상태에서 차의 앞쪽 좌측에 체중을 실으면 소음 재현 가능. 핸들을 360도 회전시키고 체중을 실으면 소음이 나지 않음. 추운 기후에서 주로 발생하는 것으로 보임.

Fiat 500 comment is interesting ie the car has to be driven. 12개월 전에 합성 하이브리드 오일(아연 함유)로 오일 교환 후, 원본 1965 Pontiac 389 엔진에서 약간의 누유 발생. 500마일 정도만 주행했는데도 오일이 이미 조금 더러워짐. 오일 소모가 발생하는 것으로 추정. 오일 게이지(딥스틱)에서 확인할 때마다 다른 높이의 오일 레벨이 표시되어 어느 것이 정확한 수치인지 불명확함.
