It has been a relatively quiet 2 months on the car and bike front but there are some updates!RX7She came out of storage and basically took a trip straight to the bodyshop to get the spoiler quoted for as this had to get done. No longer could I deal with peeling paint! Then off for an MOT, which she obviously passed with flying colours.A week or so went by and I whipped the spoiler off the old girl ready for drop off.Gosh, that is alot of gunk on the lid!All the bits disassembled and on the floor. As title, I've recently acquired a Mk2 Golf GTI 16v project. Car is a Jade Green late model small bumper 16v. I haven't got the original engine but the project came with a choice of two. I've got a 9A 2.0 16v engine from a Corrado and an ABF 2.0 16v engine from a Mk3 Golf. I'm pretty certain I'm going with the ABF engine but that decision is a long way off. Before then the car will need inner and outer sills, floor pans, inner and outer wings, front and rear valances plus all the usual bodywork repairs. In the olden days this project would have been uneconomical but the values of these are onl

스즈키 스위프트 디젤에서 아침 첫 시동 시 오일 압력 경고등이 엔진 시동 후 4-5초간 켜져 있음. 엔진이 뜨거울 때 재시동하면 경고등이 바로 꺼짐.

중고차 구매 시 엔진 오일 교환 이력 확인 문제. 압축 테스트로 엔진 내 오일 슬러지/가우드 축적 여부를 판단할 수 있는지, 그리고 가우드 축적이 있을 경우 오일 교환만으로 해결 가능한지 궁금함.

6기통 BMW 엔진 재구성 중. 300,000km 주행 엔진. RPM 레드라인을 6500에서 7000으로 올리기 위해 회전 어셈블리 밸런싱 필요. 피스톤 측정 결과 4번 실린더 피스톤이 가장 무거운 것보다 5.2g 무거움. 엔진은 30만km 동안 문제없이 작동했고, 베어링은 균등하게 마모되었으며, 크랭크축은 마모 없음, 4번 실린더 보어와 피스톤은 육안상 이상 없음. 다른 5개 알루미늄 피스톤에서 5.2g을 제거하는 것은 바람직하지 않아 보임.

I was trying not to make this too much opinion. I am eager to learn to work on an engine, but I thought maybe I could buy a plastic engine model kit, Revell or some other brand. Is building a small model engine like that remotely close to working on a real engine? By that I mean learning the parts and how it works. I know it's a lot cleaner, etc. Or is it a waste of time?

Love a mk2 GTi and some good work there!

The Modded Mark 7 Golf is firmly in that category now. I was following this fine example of the breed earlier whilst bringing a car back from an MOT - absolutely pissing blue oil smoke out. The driver was exactly what you'd expect from a tuned / w@anked out old Golf - he got out of his car to remonstrate with my phone pictures.....'it's on the way to the tuners. It's overfuelling'. 튠업 이후 스파크플러그 배선과 가솔린 캡, 밸브 캐니스터 교체함. 엔진 오일 누유 발생. 시동 시 심한 스터터링 및 강한 배기 냄새. 고속도로 가속 시 미싱 현상. 유휴 상태에서 오버히팅 발생. 2006 Chevy Equinox, 17만 마일.

1965년형 Pontiac Bonneville, 4배럴 Carter AFB 캐브레터 장착. 시동 후 따뜻해지면 즉시 꺼짐 증상 반복. 초크가 켜져 있을 때는 잘 달리지만, 워밍업 후 초크가 열리면 시동-꺼짐을 반복. 악셀을 계속 밟고 있으면 정상 작동하고 소리도 좋음. 간헐적으로 1분 정도 유지되기도 함. 캐브레터를 정비소에서 점검받고 재설치했으나 증상 미해결.
