1998년식 아우디 A4 (20만 마일 이상 주행)에서 공회전 시 매우 심한 라틀링음 발생. 엔진이 한동안 작동한 후 주로 발생하며, 2000rpm 이상 회전 시 음이 사라지고 주행 중에는 조용함. 간헐적으로 공회전 중 라틀링이 지속되면 오일 경고등(압력 경고등)이 깜박이고 소리가 나지만 주행하면 사라짐 (오일량은 충분함).

스코다 에스텔/120(1970년대, RWD, 후방 장착 엔진) 엔진을 리빌드하는 중. 제조 연도에 따라 두 가지 다른 피스톤이 사용됨: (1) 4개 링 + 유압환 부분에서 밑부분까지의 컷이 한쪽에 있고 플랫 헤드 (267g). (2) 3개 링 + 핀홀 양쪽 아래에 강화된 영역이 있고 약간의 돔형 헤드. 두 피스톤 모두 전체 치수가 같아서 같은 엔진에 호환 가능해 보임. 어느 디자인이 더 나은가?

OHV(오버헤드 밸브) 엔진과 OHC(오버헤드 캠축) 엔진의 장단점 비교. OHC 엔진이 OHV 엔진보다 더 빠르게 회전한다는 설명에 대해 알고 싶음.

2015 VW Passat 1.8 TSI - 계기판의 디프로스트 덕트 플랩 구동 모터가 열린 위치에 고정되어 있음. 이로 인해 앞유리 외부에 성에가 발생. 패널을 분해하여 플랩을 기계적으로 닫으려고 시도했으나 실패. 패널을 다시 조립한 후 운전석 및 디프로스트 덕트에서 매우 뜨거운 바람이 나오고, 승객석에서는 찬바람이 나옴.

2014년 11월부터 에어컨이 제대로 작동하지 않음. 겨울철 디프로스트 설정 시 윈드쉴드에 심한 김이 서림. 에어컨이 켜져 있는 다른 차량들보다 습기가 많음. 딜러 정비사는 디프로스트 사용 시 에어컨을 꺼야 한다고 주장했으나 수동에는 이와 모순되는 내용 기재. 콘덴서 팬 활동으로 보아 디프로스트 사용 시 에어컨을 끌 수 없는 것으로 보임.

혼다 파일럿

YF6 (2022-현재) · 3.5 V6 AWD 자동

엔진오일 교환

혼다 파일럿 신차, 4,000마일 주행 후 오일 체인지 라이트 점등되어 30% 표시됨. 오일이 어두운 색상으로 보임.

냉각수 교환

1998 Ford Escort, 113,000마일. AC 켤 때 냉풍이 나오다가 미온풍으로 변함. 동시에 엔진 온도계가 레드존까지 올라감. 고속도로 주행 중 문제 발생. 기계에서 엔진 헤드 테스트와 냉각수 압력 테스트 실시했으나 이상 없음. 문제 계속 발생.

냉각수 교환

Toyota Starlet 라디에이터 상단부(냉각수 탱크 마개 부착 부위)가 파손되어 분리됨. 엔진룸 전체에 냉각수가 흘러있었고 냉각수 량이 매우 부족했음. 오버플로우 탱크에만 약 2.5cm 정도 남아있었음. 냉각수를 다시 채운 후 시동을 걸려고 했으나 시동이 걸리지 않음. 최근 워터펌프 교체 후 누유 없음. 라디에이터에서 엔진으로 가는 호스 누유도 수리 완료
