Something my driving instructor told me back in the early 90s and that I’ve applied with additional seconds added for poor road and weather conditions for over 3 decades.I seem to remember it being on a public service advertisement back when media was way less fragmented.So on a rainy Thursday what are your motoring mantras?

Sometimes you have to wait, sometimes you have right of way. Our mandated driving assessments were as so many nationalities with different rules working in different countries, I remember the trainer (classroom based days before practical) saying flash of lights means “I am here” but don’t use. He’d been doing an assessment where the person being assessed, keen to show awareness & how courteous he was, flashed to a car waiting to come on as he accelerated to create a space behind him for the car, as was the norm where he was from…..

Quite like that. Seems good condition & obvious curio out of all the hatches of the time.Treat it like a mini exotic GT car rather than a Type R rival & I recckon it fits the brief.Price wise given the scarcity of these is about correct for the right enthusiast. Should get some money off as well I would argue.
