Having previously owned two of these wonderful cars and seen the prices rise this one seems a relatively good price with all the work done. Not my choice with the wood trim and they look so much better with CSL alloys in my opinion but very nice indeed!

Paperwork, bills, receipts, some more paperwork, spec sheets, sales literature... depending on what you consider 'history' pertaining to your car it's easy to watch a mountain of paper stack up. I certainly have, but I know some of you have sprawling mountains of paperwork relating to your fleet. How do you store it? I know of online services like Patina but I'm thinking more about the actual paperwork than a digital paper trail.Up until now I've been using two ring binders - one for each car - to file their histories away, but I am curious if there's a better way. What do you do?

It’s a real pain that parking spaces are so small. It makes parking large cars like……er……..a Renault Clio so difficult.

고된 엔진에 높은 점도 오일(제조사 권장보다 높은)을 사용해야 하는지 불확실함. 예를 들어 1989년 오펠 벡트라는 제조사 권장이 5W-30이지만, 엔진이 노후되면 5W-50 같은 높은 점도 오일을 사용해도 되는지 궁금함. 냉간 시동 시 점도는 같지만 작동 온도에서는 높은 점도를 유지할 수 있음.

지오 메트로가 2700마일 도로여행 중 간헐적으로 정지. 처음 800마일 후 언덕을 올라갈 때 75mph에서 55mph로 떨어졌다가 다시 시동. 이후 여러 언덕에서 반복되다가 정상화됨. 귀로에서 첫 번째 언덕에서 다시 발생, 700마일 후 작은 언덕의 정지신호에서 발생. 집에서 60마일 떨어진 지점에서 6마일마다 정지 시작. 4기통 모터.

엔진 냉간 시동 후 몇 순간 동안 유휴 RPM이 약간 높음. 6개월 이상 방치된 차량은 시동 후 RPM이 훨씬 높으며 정상 RPM에 도달하는 데 수 분이 소요되고, 안정화되는 동안 RPM이 올랐다 내렸다를 반복함.

푸조 207 (2008) 1.6L VTI 가솔린 엔진에서 이상한 소음 발생. 캠 커버 교체 후에도 문제 미해결. 엔진 회전수를 높이면 소음이 일시적으로 개선되지만, 유휴 상태에서 정상적이지 않은 상태. 엔진이 정지될 위험이 있음.

1992 Chevy 350 엔진에서 1년에서 1개월 주기로 디스트리뷰터를 교체해야 함. 2000 RPM 근처에서 시동이 끊기는 증상이 발생하지만 다른 조건에서는 정상 작동. 디스트리뷰터 교체 후 일시적으로 정상이 되었다가 같은 문제 반복 발생.

2003년식 · XV30 5세대 (2001-2006) · 2.4 LE

2003년식 도요타 캠리 4기통, AC 켰을 때 아이들이 300 RPM으로 떨어지면서 엔진 스톨 발생

2011 Kia Rio에서 저속으로 천천히 전진 또는 후진할 때 허브캡 뒤에 자갈이나 작은 이물질이 있는 것으로 의심되며, 팝핑 또는 딱딱거리는 소리(팝락이나 라이스 크리스피 같은)가 들림. 모래 위에서 굴러가는 무거운 차처럼 '모래' 같은 소리가 나며, 매끄러운 포장도로에서도 발생하고, Rio는 상대적으로 가벼운 자동차이므로 예상과 맞지 않음.

닛산 알티마

2001년식 · 2세대 (1998-2001) · 2.4 XE

정기점검

2001 닛산 엑스트레일. 20분 이상 주행 후 차량의 힘이 떨어짐. RPM이 매우 높아지지만 차량은 느림. RPM이 레드존 근처까지 올라가도 시속 10-25km로만 주행. 임시 해결책은 시동을 끄고 20~30분 대기하는 것. 또 다른 20분 주행 후 증상 재발. 이미 두 곳의 정비소 방문했으나 해결 못함.
