Inspired by a trip to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu last weekend, I was inspired by these 2 vehicles and what a thing it would have been to own these 2 vehicles at the same time in the 1980s.Had I been the age that I am now in the 80s and with the same personal circumstances, the Cosworth would have been my "cool" family car (although it may not still be parked where I left it) and the BMW 325i Cabriolet my fun top down cruiser. I run a variety of older cars including a Mini R50, a VX220 and a Cayman 987 so there’s usually something needing attention.I bought the Cayman in March. It’s a 2007 model with the base 2.7 engine. I've been on the trail of this car for the best part of two years, finally last week current owner decided a new home had to be found for itnow at this point we have now got 7 cars at the house and i didn't need the extra project but you just cant turn down the opportunity sometimesthere is method in my madness, my dad owned one of these in 1999, eventually the car was traded in and he was gutted. it only went as it was too low to get my gran in and out in her later years. i managed to track the car down and had it when i was 18. that car met a untimely end and that was that for the next 20 or

Rather than keeping on top of an already good condition car, I'm going to be bringing a car a new lease of life.Grab a cuppa, this first post is a long one.The decision for this car was due to me having to take my boy to nursery in the Clio 197 (thread here), and as that car is immaculate, I wasn't too keen on the baby seat being in the car for extended periods of time - not because of the mess the baby would make, but because of the marks the child seat will make over time. I made the decision to look for a cheap runabout to go

1983 AMC 258 cubic inch 새로 오버홀된 엔진(1년 전, 저마일리지)이 갑자기 과도한 오일 소비를 시작하여 2일 만에 스파크 플러그에 카본이 쌓임

2006 Volvo V70에서 저유량(low oil level) 알림이 표시됨. 직선도로의 평탄한 길을 주행 중 처음 나타났으며, 여러 번의 엔진 재시동 후에도 지속됨. 저유압(low oil pressure) 경고가 아닌 저유량 알림으로 긴급하지 않은 상태.

2006 쉐보레 임팔라 V6 엔진. 2주간 방치 후 시동 시 이상한 삑삑거리는 음(스퀴킹) 발생. 초기 5분 후 음성이 클릭 소리로 변함. 드라이브로 진입 시 엔진 파워 상실.

38인치 타이어를 Toyota 1984에 장착했는데 차량이 떨린다. 얼라인먼트 문제이거나 타이어 공기압 부족일 수 있다.
