증상
2023 Defender 90 D250, 36,000마일, 엔진이 완전히 고착됨. 정규 서비스 이력 있음. 보증 기간 만료 1개월 후 발생. 엔진 오일은 있었으나 오일 필터에 이물질 없음. Land Rover에서 엔진 고착 확인함.
처리 내용
비공식 딜러에서 구매한 차량이지만 금융회사도 책임이 있을 수 있음 (Consumer Rights Act). 금융회사에 연락하여 결함에 대한 책임을 문의하고, 초기 제조 결함일 가능성을 주장. 보증 만료 직전의 내재적 결함(latent defect)에 대해 법적 자문 필요. 독립적인 엔진 진단으로 정상적인 사용에서의 오일 부족 등 외부 원인이 아님을 증명하는 것이 중요. 엔진 고착 원인이 설계/제조 결함임을 입증하면 보증 기간 초과에도 불구하고 클레임 가능성 있음.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
