I'll take it you've never driven or owned a petrol S3. 15 mpg, 55 mph top speed, unsupportive and uncomfortable seats, heaters are pathetic, brakes non existence etc etc etc. I'd take the modern brakes, heaters, accurate brakes, not having to fill up on every journey with petrol and oil, not holding up traffic on A roads etc as a daily every time in exchange for dressing for the elements, especially if it meant I avoid the "horror" of EV.No you wouldn t. And no one else would either. This thread is full of professional I m 14 and this is deep people. No one on this planet would consider an Ariel Atom to avoid driving a completely normal EV. I used to work in Marlow which had width restriction bollards at each end of the bridge (they've been removed now, so it's just a kerb instead which is bad but not quite as bad). In theory, they were 2m at both ends of the bridge, but I discovered that these could be adjusted (and had been adjusted) so that one end was wider. This meant that vehicles slightly wider than 2m could get on the bridge, but couldn't get off the other side...I had to help take them off at the narrower end because a Land Rover towing a trailer with a bull in it had got through one end of the

I've chucked 16k a year on mine for the last couple of years commuting to Sussex. It's in for a quieter life now I've got an EV for the commute but I love it, it's not going anywhere. Please accept my apologies if I haven't been paying attention, but are you saying that you pay a garage £16,000.00 a year and you think they are a good garage?I think he’s chucked on 16k miles a year on the car.

Quite like that. Seems good condition & obvious curio out of all the hatches of the time.Treat it like a mini exotic GT car rather than a Type R rival & I recckon it fits the brief.Price wise given the scarcity of these is about correct for the right enthusiast. Should get some money off as well I would argue.

You may have read my post previously about the Overland Yeti / subsequent Yeti TSI conversion which appears to have inspired a couple of PHers so far to head to Morocco, which is great! it has been awesome reading of poppopbangbang's Cayenne adventure and CA with his L405.https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...Well anyone that read the original thread will know that things didn't go completely to plan and ultimately we were let down by road car build quality which just isn't that suitable to the trials and tribulations of overland action (at least not at the hands of amateurs, an
