I took a flight to Heathrow on Tuesday and drove 420 miles home in a lovely shade of willow green V70 2.5TIt turned over 64,007 when I arrived homeI filled the tank in Slough with 63.4 litres of BP Ultimate and once home OBC says I averaged 33.5mpg (it was at 37.4 before I got stuck in traffic going round Birmingham) and the OBC now says I can still drive another 115 miles. Corrado for me too...the first time I saw one in the showroom that was it, sadly I couldn't afford one they were more expensive than a Golf GTi 16v. A few years later they had just went out of production and I went looking for one...a year later I found exactly the car I wanted at a VAG main dealer, Corrado 16v, red, low miles...checking it over I discovered it was accident damaged, I was gutted.I never owned one...but I did promise myself if ever VW made another coupe I'd buy one, so I got a new Scirocco.
