I brought my car in for maintenance and while the vehicle was on the lift, the top mounting bracket of both front MacPherson struts failed and allowed the coil spring to decompress to the furthest extent allowed by the other suspension components. Both struts catastrophically failed within 10 minutes of each other, causing a loud violent bang, but not immediately when the tires were lifted off the pavement. By all measures, this is a design flaw that allowed moisture to be trapped in the top strut mount which greatly accelerated this component's failure. Every other visible portion of the stru

어떻게 할까 고민하다가 너무 바쁜 시기라 센터나 정비소 전혀 가보질 못 해서 사진 보내고 우선 미수선 처리 견적 보내니 문자로 답변이 123만원...지금보니 금액이 신기하네요 ㅎㅎ 아우디 A6 13년식 이라 오래 되긴 해서... 라이트도 긁히긴 했는데 다행이 습기차거나 그런건 없는듯 합니다. 미수선 글들 찾아보니 그에 비해 적은 금액은 아닌듯 한데 나중에 처리할때 문제가 될 정도인지는 애매해서 여쭤봅니다. 답변주실 분들께 미리 감사드립니다^^

Driving down the interstate it started snowing and it was a wet snow so it was sticking to the front of the car. Warning light for the front collision light came on and said was disabled or something like that. It was also white outs during this snow storm so with that out not knowing if there's a car in front of me put not only my life but my husband's life in danger. Once we stopped for gas and cleared front of car off it was fine. We've owned this car since 2018 and this is the 1st snowstorm we've encountered this.

AS I WAS STARTING OUT MY DRIVEWAY THE STEERING SUDDENLY GOT VERY STIFF AND WHEN IT WOULD TURN IT WOULD NOT RETURN TO CENTER, SO I HAD TO DO THAT MYSELF. The Shifting solenoid malfunctioned, burned up transmission and created a hazard on the roadway in high traffic areas. Vehicle stalled creating a backup in traffic and myself almost got rear ended. The Red McCombs Toyota did confirm it was a solenoid malfunction through a phone call and video. They concluded that the car is not operable. The problem has been inspected and was advised to pay a hefty fee of nearly $10,000. Prior to the failure no lights or warnings were provided by the car’s electrical system not until I parked and restarted the car that the lamps turned on after the failure.

My 07 Impala stopped blowing air so I got a new blower motor. I take the old one out, connect the plug to the new one and nothing. I took a multi meter and connected it’s leads to the plug that goes to the blower motor to see if it’s getting power. As I turned the fan up and down, the meter also went up and down. I’m assuming it’s getting power. Since the meter went up and down along with the fan speed dial, I’m assuming the resistor is working. Brake malfunction on my 2018 Toyota Camry and steering wheel malfunctioned causing my vehicles to spend on the freeway hitting a barrel and landing the car into a ditch. The car is not available for inspection it’s still at the tow yard. The safety was at risk for me as the driver was tremendously overwhelming and fearful. 2016 Sierra, 103k mi, no error codes or lights. Without warning the clutch seems to completely disengage. I will loose every gear but Neutral. Taking the key out and starting it again fixes it for a time. Problems usually start after I come to a complete stop in Drive (like at a red light). Only when it rains the forward collision warning light comes on. The last time it came on the engine light also came on with code P01280. Diagnostic at Toyota said the Thermostat needs to be replaced. I decided to look into this as the thermostat should not be bad at 54500 miles. Weeks later and the neither light has come on again.

I drive a 2014 Honda CR-V. My steering wheel vibrates whenever my car speed is between 30-40 mph. Once past 40 mph, the vibration stops completely. While most explanation mentions about bad CV joint, motor mount, loose lug nuts, unbalanced tires, stuck brake caliper, etc but it doesn’t address the issue as to why it only vibrates between 30-40 mph and not before or after. It is very steady even from 60 mph and beyond. Any idea what is the problem?

My warning panel told me to take the car to dealer for reprogram, and dealer said my wiring harness for hybrid electric system had been chewed by rodents and the harness and probably batteries should be replaced NOW or the car might catch fire. I replaced the harness and the batteries. When I asked to see the parts, they said they had boxed and shipped. Later, a friend alerted me to a problem with Soy-based coatings on wires that rodents found tasty. My friend said his KIA had same problem and his insurance covered the expense . Brought my vehicle to Costco to have the tires replaced. After the vehicle was put on the lift, the wheel broke off. Fortunately no one was underneath at the time. Costco did no further work because of this so car was then towed to dealership. They confirmed that the strut mounts were rusted so badly that it caused it to just break away from the top mount. This suspension issue also caused additional tire damage. There was absolutely no indiciation that there was an issue with the strut and I am glad that it decided to break off while on a lift getting service instead of when I was driving it.

Hello, My car is like groundhog day with Bill Murray. Every morning I drive to work 10 miles on the highway. As I hit the the red light…it sputter and stalls. I start it and no problem off we go. This is the ONLY time it stalls during the day.This is EVERY DAY lol. Now it has thrown at times a P0171 lean code doing this so I can assume this is the problem. While driving my car it showed an SRS Airbag System Malfunction contact your dealership message. On March 19,2025 we took our car into the dealership, and they stated the car was drivable, but if we were in a head on collision the seatbelt would not tighten to keep us from hitting the steering wheel/dashboard/windshield.
