I got a tank of Super (Jet brand) for 175.9 yesterday. E10 was 10p below that. Seems to be a slight move in the right direction although that garage is always cheaper than the one down the road. However, the one down the road is in a busier location. It’s an interesting case study when you think about it. Our Economics teacher used petrol as his example of ‘perfect competition.’ There’s essentially no difference between the product of various companies and they can all be used interchangeably.

Pricing in gallons would give the customer a more accurate guide if it's worth driving to the cheaper fuel station or not especially lately where the price is up and down like a yo-yo. The pricing should've stayed with the pricing in gallons imho.Such a ridiculously niche reason. We don t use gallons for anything else. Yes, would make more sense to sell in kWh and then have the cars measure their consumption in m/kWh. Would then enable better comparisons with other energy consumption like EV cars, home gas and home electricity So for that example of super unleaded above at £1.759, would be 19.2 p/kWh50mpg =1.2m/kWh =16p per mileEdited by plfrench on Friday 30th October 08:03 Well 1 liter of petrol contains about 8.9 kWh and costs 164.9p, but all the tells you is that to store the same energy as an 80kwh battery you would only need a 9l tank. This highlight the pointless nature of the comparisons of energy density verses energy efficiency. The EU have the option to mandate power trains to be at least 40% efficient if they want, but that is not the current trajectory we are heading.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
