An oil drain valve is a device that replaces your regular drain bolt and makes an oil change a much cleaner job. I’m driving an older vehicle today & was totally bewildered not to find a cup holder for my coffee.(I did find one eventually but there is only one in reach of the driver)It reminded me of a time (I think the 90’s) when top gear et al included number of cup holders in their reviews (possibly even in printed stats in the back of magazines if you recall them?). 2015 BMW 120i 수입차 구매 검토 중. 딜러는 일본 수입이라고 주장하지만, 속도계가 mph와 kph 병행 표시되고 대시보드 메시지가 영어로 되어 있음. 일본 판매 120i는 속도계가 kph만 표시되고 대시보드 메시지가 일본어임. RHD 차량이므로 영국, 일본, 호주 중 하나에서 온 것으로 보임. 차량의 실제 출처가 의심스러움.

2004 지프 체로키 4.0에서 엔진오일이 크리미한 갈색으로 변함. 처음 발견 후 조치했으나 2분 주행 후 다시 같은 증상 발생. 밸브커버에서 휘파람음 발생.

1995 Mercury Mystique A/C가 새 컴프레서 및 어큐뮬레이터 설치, 냉매 충전 후 며칠간 잘 작동했으나 현재 냉기가 간헐적으로 나오는 증상. 컴프레서가 정상 작동하지 않을 가능성 의심.

AC 컴프레서를 1년 전에 더미 풀리로 교체했음. 원래 컴프레서에서 이상한 소음이 발생했었음 (곧 고장날 것 같은 상태). 새 컴프레서 설치 및 냉매 충전 예정. 새 컴프레서가 조기 고장 나지 않도록 사전 점검 필요. 기존 컴프레서 고장 후 필터 교체 및 시스템 플러싱의 필요성을 알고 있음.

차고에 보관하고 잘 사용하지 않는 차를 얼마나 자주 운행해야 하고, 한 번에 얼마나 오래 운행해야 하는가? 현재 10,000km마다 정기점검을 받고 있음.

파워 스티어링이 없는 차량에서 핸들을 돌릴 때 특정 위치에서 '걸리는' 현상이 발생하며 회전이 매우 어려움. 문제는 차량을 2주간 주차한 후부터 시작됨.

얼터네이터 교환

2005 Accord LX 2.4L, 101k마일. 몇 주 전 배터리 경고등 점등. 배터리는 작년에 교체함. 점검 결과 올터네이터 불량으로 판단하여 OEM 리빌트 올터네이터로 교체. 경고등 소거됨. 올터네이터 교체 중 텐셔너 풀리가 너무 자유롭게 회전하며 약간의 소음 발생. 예방 차원에서 혼다 딜러에서 새 OEM 풀리 구입하여 교체. M14 풀리 볼트에 41lbft 토크 적용 (유튜브 영상 참조). 올터네이터와 풀리 교체는 별도로 진행됨.

2003 캐딜락 CTS, 6기통 5단 수동변속기, 104,000마일. 1단에서 2단으로 변속할 때 2단 기어에서만 클러치를 떼면 3단으로 변속할 때까지 그라인딩 소음 발생.

시트로엥 C3 익스클루시브 반자동 차량에서 엔진 시동 시 브레이크 페달에 압력을 가해야 시동이 걸림. 시동 후 목적지까지 주행하여 시동을 끄지 않았다가 귀가 후 시동을 켤 때 시동이 걸리지 않음.
