97 Cherokee가 시동이 안 걸림 (크랭킹은 되지만 때때로 윙~하는 소리 후 꺼짐). 도난당했다가 2주일 후 반환되고 추가로 2주일 방치됨. 오일 누유 심각 (디스틱 끝부분만 묻어있음). 전날 가속 시 성능 저하 있었음. 경고등 점등 안 됨.

휘발유 17리터를 주입했는데 이미 디젤 8리터가 들어있었음. 정비사가 드레인 처리 후 디젤 12리터 주입. 시동이 걸리고 작동하다가 3마일 주행 후 연료 파이프에서 많은 공기가 빠져나가는 증상 발생. (르노 캉고)

연료 펌프가 작동하지 않을 때(시동을 걸지 않고 Run 위치에서 몇 초 기다릴 때) 연료 압력이 어떻게 유지되는지에 대한 질문. 액체는 압축 불가능한데 시스템의 어느 부분이 압축되어 일정한 압력을 제공하는지 궁금함 - 연료 자체인지, 연료 라인이 팽창하는 것인지, 아니면 다른 부분인지.

'05 산타페 2.7L 엔진이 시동이 안 걸림. 구입 당시 이미 고장 상태였음. 차량이 멈춰서 견인됨. 알터네이터 교체 중 렌치가 엔진 블록에 스파크함. 증상: 크랭킹은 되지만 시동 안 걸림. 연료압력 양호. 시작액체 분사해도 안 됨. Noid 라이트로 인젝터 테스트: 양호. 스파크 테스트 코일팩: 양호. 모든 릴레이와 퓨즈 테스트: 양호. ECU 분해해서 습기나 쇼트 확인: 이상 없음. 타이밍 벨트 커버 분리해서 벨트 끊어짐 확인: 다음 단계 진행 중

2006 VW Golf 1.4i에서 오일 경고등이 계속 켜져 있음. 오일 펌프, 오일 압력 스위치 교체, 오일 추가 등을 시도했으나 경고등이 꺼지지 않음.

1964 Mercury Comet Caliente 자동변속기 스티어링 컬럼 기어 시프터 레버가 매우 가볍게 움직임. 기어 변속에 거의 압력이 필요 없음. 파크에서 리버스로 변속기가 거의 움직임 없이 전환될 수 있음.

2012 Accord LX 2.4L - Compustar Drone와 Compustar EZ-GO 전자장치가 지속적으로 작동 중. ELD(Electronic Load Detector)가 배터리 충전을 방해하고 전압만 유지하여 몇 개월에 걸쳐 배터리가 서서히 12V까지 방전되는 증상. ELD 바이패스 시 충전 전압이 상수 14.4V로만 유지될 것으로 예상됨.

자동차에 25암페어를 소비하는 햄 라디오 트랜시버를 설치할 때, 12V 소켓이 아닌 배터리와 엔진 접지에 직접 연결해야 하는 경우. 햄 라디오 설치 가이드에서는 엔진 실에 퓨즈를 권장하지만, 접지선(그라운드 와이어)에도 퓨즈를 달아야 하는지 불확실함.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but why don't automobiles have some sort of immediate braking mechanism? Even one that plows into the ground to stop the car faster than if you just slammed on the brakes. If we were worried about abuse, it could be one time use before some costly replacement, so it would only be used in emergencies.

Nearly every plane uses Oleo Struts, they basically look like a shock absorber that is made beefier to also be able to provide springing to the suspension. Normal car shock absorbers also have nitrogen gas but they have very small amount of nitrogen, they can not provide much springing effect however these oleo struts have much more nitrogen and basically work like a spring+damper unit. 2003 Volvo XC70에서 약 5000마일 동안 미세한 엔진 노킹 발생했으나 엔진 손상 징후 없음. 오일 상태 양호. 2500-3500 RPM 범위에서만 소음 발생. 고속도로 주행 중 체크 엔진 표시등 점등. 스캔 결과 알터네이터 기능 부전 및 크랭크 회전 속도 저하 진단. 약 100마일 주행 후 작은 '펑' 소리와 함께 엔진 노킹이 심해짐.
