I have been reparing my weed wacker, so I have the gasoline/oil mixture on my hands. I have washed them twice with hand soap, once with orange soap scrub, once with dish soap, once with hand sanitizer, and finally once with white vinegar. The white vinegar has done the best job so far. Could I have stopped after a few washings, or it is still unsafe to handle food if I can still smell the gasoline in my hands?

Thanks to a fortuitous set of financial circumstances (mortgage paid off, made redundant at the back end of last year, and found a new job pretty sharpish - meaning the redundancy payout I got can be spent on a 'want', not a 'need') I have recently found myself in a position to tick off a big bucket list item for me.If we rewind back to the late 90s ... lads had their hair cut with a bowl and curtain fringes ... girl power was trying to work out what a zig-a-zig-ah was ... and a small group of mentalists were building bonkers cars in Blackpool. 변속기 오일 교환

After more than ten years of E36 tinkering, many engine iterations and lots of seat time from track days to racing, it was time so start something new. An accident in the E36 at Cadwell Park in April 2023 was the ultimate deciding factor for this. The car was repairable, but it's fate was already decided - break it for parts and retain what I needed, then sell the rest to fund the next project. It's final spec is listed in the video description if you are interested. The platform and interchangeability of the M5x engine parts will never go away, but fun was had and it was time to move on. |

속도 범프(포트홀 등)를 넘을 때 후륜이 지나가면서 전륜보다 훨씬 더 심하게 차 전체가 위아래로 튀고 딱딱거린다. 쇼크는 교체했으나 증상이 계속되며, 후미가 너무 딱딱하다는 느낌이다. 코일 스프링에 문제가 있을 가능성이 있으나 외관상 이상이 보이지 않음. 1993년식 Acura Integra 스포츠 해치백.

타이어 교체가 필요하지만 주문한 타이어 도착까지 2주 정도 소요됨. 현재 타이어 상태가 안전한지 확인 필요. 일일 약 40마일 통근하며 비 오는 날씨도 예상됨.

1997 BMW E39 5시리즈 투어링의 리어 쇼크 업소버를 Bilstein B4 OEM 제품으로 교체한 후 승차감이 현저히 악화됨. 쇼크 마운트(N.7), 보조 쇼크 업소버(N.5), 모든 마운팅 하드웨어(N.2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10)도 함께 교체했으며, 제조사 규격에 따라 토크 조정 완료. 서스펜션의 다른 부품은 교체하지 않음.

2004 인피니티 G35, 155,000km, 냉간 시동 후 추운 아침에만 간헐적으로 초당 약 2회 진동하는 "부드러운 금속 삐걱거림" 소리가 들림. 약 1분 후 사라짐. 엔진이 따뜻하거나 외부 온도가 섭씨 0도 이상일 때는 발생하지 않음.

얼터네이터 교환

1998 알티마의 새 교대기 설치 후 야간에 배터리가 8볼트까지 방전되어 시동이 걸리지 않음. 자동차 시동이 꺼진 상태에서 교대기를 테스트하면 0.4암페어의 역전류가 흐르고 있음.

엔진오일 교환

닛산 프론티어 2018년형 4.0L. 부품점에서 M14 규격 와셔 세트를 사용해도 된다고 했는데, 확인 결과 정확한 규격은 M12입니다. 이미 M14를 설치했고 현재 누유가 없는 상태입니다. 다음 오일 교환 시까지 유지해도 괜찮을지, 아니면 지금 교환해야 할지 궁금합니다.

정기점검

2005 Ford Escape 2.3L 엔진에서 시동 직후부터 노킹음 발생, 노킹음의 속도가 RPM을 따름

라디오 스테이션, 볼륨 레벨 등의 설정이 저장되지 않음. 매번 시동을 걸 때마다 초기화되어 처음부터 설정해야 함. 엔진이 꺼지면 헤드유닛에 전원이 공급되지 않는 것으로 추정됨.

배터리 교환

2004 Ford Taurus SES DOCH 24V에서 ABS 모듈 교체를 위해 배터리 트레이를 제거하려고 함. 배터리 트레이 고정 볼트 4개 중 1개가 작고 상단이 이상한 모양임 (다른 3개는 표준 10mm 볼트로 쉽게 빠짐). 메트릭 및 표준 소켓을 모두 시도했으나 제대로 맞지 않음. 육각형 면이 표준 소켓 형태가 아닌 것 같음. 바이스 그립으로도 풀리지 않음.

2007 Mazda6 2.3L I4에서 5°F(-15°C) 이하의 추운 날씨에 시동이 걸리는 시간이 점점 늘어남. 밤새 12시간 주차 후 시동이 안 걸리지만 오후에는 잘 걸림. 오늘은 4초간 시동을 건 후 휴식하고 추가로 2초 시동하니 걸림. 정상적으로는 즉시 시동됨. 스타터는 빠르게 회전하지만 엔진이 착화되지 않아 배터리나 스타터 문제는 아닌 것으로 보임. 최종적으로 시동이 걸리면 엔진이 저속에서 럭함.

1985 Mk1 Golf Cabriolet 1.6 카브레터 오토 모델의 연료 탱크에 심한 녹이 발생. 원인은 연료 필러 넥 부식으로 인한 장기간의 도로 분사물, 진흙, 녹 입자 축적. 현재 연료 라인이 분리된 상태이며 탱크 바닥에 건조한 녹 플레이크와 이물질이 존재.
