마츠다 RX-7(FC) 터빈 오버홀 중 발생한 문제: 공정 1 - 엔진 분해 시 제거한 터빈의 볼트가 경년 열화로 인해 풀리지 않고 부러짐. 공정 2 - 너트를 용접하여 함께 회전시키려 해도 계속 부러짐. 볼트를 드릴로 제거하려 시도. 공정 3 - 드릴 작업 중 실수로 터빈에 구멍을 뚫어버림.

어느 날 갑자기 모든 계기판 게이지가 오른쪽 끝까지 간다. 모든 경고등이 계속 켜져 있다. 계기판의 모든 그라운드와 전원 배선을 제거했다가 다시 장착했다. 배선 손상은 발견되지 않았다. 계기판 그라운드와 전원 배선에 대한 부하 테스트를 했으나 정상이다.
