What do I need to do to get my motorcycle running again after I've left it in my garage for over a year?

My car honda CR-V is in pretty desperate need of new tires. I've put away a small amount from my last few paycheques, but it's not a whole lot. I'm curious as to whether you would feel it's a better choice to purchase cheap winter tires (GT Radial, Falken Tire, Ironman, etc.) or a high-quality all season? I can sink a little more if it means not having to purchase again in 6 months. By the way,I don't drive outside of the city at all in the winter. I only drive to and from work on major roadways and a couple side streets to get out of my community. Thanks everyone! After reading these response

22년도에 출고한 K5 DL3 모델 운행중입니다. 주행거리는 거의 5만 가까이 다 되어가네요. 올해 처음으로 검사소 가서 차량 정기점검 받았는데, 정기정검 하신분이 앞바퀴 두개는 손상이 많은 것 같다고 교체하라고 말씀해주시더군요.. 제가 타이어교체는 한번도 해본적이 없어서.. 감이 전혀 없어 여쭤봅니다. 보통 타이어 얼마마다 한번 씩 교체하시는지요? 주행거리 기준으로 많이 교체하시나요? 아니면 저처럼 카센터나 정기점검 받을시에 교체 권유 받으면 교체하시는지요?

I have friends that goto Track Days frequently on their motorcycles. If the first session is very cold they use their old tires and don't ride real hard because they don't want to shear their good newer track tires. After the track warms up they will put on their newer tires and ride much harder. They discuss cold tire shearing as the reason they don't use their newer tires during this first morning session when the track is cold and dirty. What is cold tire shearing?

After reading some articles regarding 'running low on oil', I understood the logic that having more (appropriate amount) of oil is better than running low as oil has time to cool down before it has to be 'used' again to cool/lubricate and what not. So my question actually is; how does it get cooled? I don't think it goes through the radiator. Does the oil just 'sit' and cools off by time? If that's the case; wouldn't driving for a long time (let's say 8 hours) cause it to only get hotter and hotter? My car stays at 90-91 degrees Celsius (Audi A6) and won't go over unless it's really a hot day

This is a pretty common question and I get a lot of conflicting responses from "Extremely dangerous could blow out at any minute" to "I've driven on it for a month". I have 2013 Nissan Rogue. I live in Toronto, Canada, so it is very cold here right now. I understand that cold temperatures can cause the tire pressure light to come on, but will it actually affect the reading if I use a pressure gauge (I think that's what it's called) to check the tire pressure? For example, the recommended PSI is about 40 I believe. On Saturday, the tire pressure in all four tires was pretty low so I filled them all up to 41. Working on an overheating issue on my 2008 Mustang GT. Car starts normally after sitting all night and fan starts up when I click on the AC. Let the car run (or drive it in traffic) and as soon as the needle gets to normal the fan shuts down. this of course causes the radiator to start heating up shutting down my AC before going in the RED. I bought a new car back in June this year and the car comes with summer performance tires. I live in Minnesota and now it's December, so I really want to get snow tires installed instead of driving in summer tires (since I've read that this may damage the treads). So my question: is it a good idea to keep the summer tires I have and buy new snow tires and mount them for now and when the winter is over, put those summer tires back on? I know nothing about mounting tires, so I'm concerned that changing tires every year would damage the wheels.

Trunk lid slams open when release button pressed.

I drive a Ford Focus 2004 which has about 104 thousand km on the clock. There is a constant noise from the front right wheel which goes away when I depress the clutch. Moreover around 60km/h and 120-130km/h there is a vibration in the steering wheel which is sometimes more sometimes less. The front tires have seen better days and could/should also be replaced but don't show any irregular wear. What would be the most likely cause? Did anybody have similar experiences?

This is one of those things that can be managed by carrying a bottle of brake fluid and topping off when needed. I am debating about keeping this truck long term so wasn’t wanting to spend $1000 to have the entire clutch replaced. I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS CAR, UNTIL I GOT THIS CAR. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS SINCE SIGNING OUT CONTRACT.
