Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more.But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. Been lurking and half heartedly contributing on the site many years and always enjoyed the readers cars section, especially when people post up a dubious car history. So thought I’d share my car history from 2000 to date. Stunning car this, everything about it is just perfect. Late 90's into late 00's are the absolute peak JDM era, and cars in general imo. On a semi regular basis I keep thinking about what I'd replace my JDM car for, and consistently the answer is only one thing, but then I drive it again and any urge to sell completely disappears. There's many ways to go a lot faster, there's very few ways to take the wife and my 4 year old while also having something that just feels so raw when you're on it.

Completely different feel to the big Benz. Truth be told it feels really slow driven back to back with the CLS but the feel is completely different and more engaging.I also set about turning it back into how i think an E46 M3 should look...
