I FIRST NOTICED SEVERE VIBRATION WHEN GOING ON HIGHWAY, I APPLIED BRAKE AND THE ENTIRE FRONT END STARTED TO VIBRATE. THE CAR ONLY HAS AROUND 16,000 MILES AND ITS 2018 MODEL. BAD ROTOR IS CAUSING THIS TO SHAKE. THIS ROTOR MUST HAVE COME FROM THE FACTORY DEFECTIVE. THE DEALER IS UNWILLING TO REPLACE IT. THEY WANT ME TO PAY FOR THIS REPAIR AROUND $300. I REALIZE THAT BRAKE PADS ARE NOT COVERED BUT THE ROTORS SHOULD BE COVERED BECAUSE THEY CAME LIKE THAT FROM THE FACTORY.

I was driving in downtown and a sudden loss of braking power. My speed was 20 mile/ hr and I push down brake strongly to stop the car. I was at the highest risk even stopped the car. I was driving 75 mph on I-10 East going into Houston when I received a low braking power warning. My brakes were useless and I had to use the slow down gradually and slowly used the emergency brake. Hello! When i am pushing the brake pedal it is very hard, like engine is of! I took my car to local diller and they was diagnosed that i have to replace brake vacuum pump, but i have to pay for that service $1350... but i know that Toyota hade recall exactly for this part of brake sistem. I chaked my car for this recall but there is no recall for my car, only fuel pump is... but fact is that my car have same problem, why it is not qualifay fo recall i don’t understand. I was rear ended when I was braking hard to avoid hitting a dog in the street (where I live you can be sued for running over/injuring a dog). My car speed was about 10 mph give or take, and I was rear ended by a distracted driver (who admitted to using antidepressants on a daily basis) who I believe was going at least 45 mph.
