A quick AI search shows the price of the same model in China, the BYD Denza Z9 GT costs between £29,984 and £37,764 depending on the variant.By comparison, the exact same vehicle is significantly higher in the UK at £95,000 for the plug-in hybrid & £105,000 for the all-electric version. There is a name for that I believe...will we see people importing cars direct from China, as they did from Japan in the past?

In the past when I had a car repaired / serviced, I'd go to the garage, inspect the work and, provided it was satisfactory, I would pay via credit card knowing I had some consumer protection if the car fell apart as a result of poor workmanship.Nowadays many places seem to ask for payment by bank transfer due to high bank charges. They don't even like payment by debit card.It feels like this leaves an element of risk on my side as I could be paying for work I have not seen and not having the credit card protection. Not to mention being poor for cashflow and missing out on credit card bonuses.

BMW '90 E30 320i Cabrio, M20 6기통 엔진. 주행 중 계기판의 빨간색 엔진오일 경고등이 점등되지만 엔진음과 작동은 정상. 엔진을 끄고 재시동하면 꺼졌다가 주행 중 다시 점등됨. 더운 날씨에 더 자주 발생하는 것으로 보임. 6주 전 오일 교환했으나 어떤 점도의 오일을 넣었는지 확실하지 않음.

픽업 트럭 적재함에 엔진오일이 많이 유출되어 얼룩이 남음. 종이타월로 대부분 닦았고 주방용 세제와 칫솔로 문질러 청소 중

매번 연료를 충전할 때마다 주행거리, 연료 가격, 펌프량을 기록하고 있습니다. 93옥탄가 휘발유로 거의 빈 탱크를 채워 거의 빌 때까지 주행한 후, 89옥탄가와 87옥탄가로 동일하게 반복했습니다. 예상대로 93옥탄가가 최고의 연비를 보였고, 89옥탄가가 그 다음, 87옥탄가가 가장 낮은 연비를 보였습니다. 어느 것이 더 경제적인지 판단하려면 어떻게 해야 할까요?

1988 혼다 어코드(3세대) 연료 게이지가 항상 만땅을 가리키는 문제. 센더 유닛을 탱크에서 제거하여 접점 클리너로 세척함(구리색 변색 있었음). 탱크 밖에서 테스트 시 플로트를 손으로 움직이면 게이지가 정상 반응함. 센더를 탱크에 다시 설치한 후 문제 재발 - 연료 게이지가 계속 만땅을 가리키며 변화 없음.

2003 시트로엥 C5의 에어컨 시스템이 냉매 부족 상태. 시스템 용량은 냉매유 135ml. 레시버 드라이어 교체 중. 냉매 충전 시 얼마나 많은 냉매유를 추가해야 하는지 불명확.

벨트 텐셔너 교체 후 크루즈 컨트롤과 에어컨 버튼 작동 안 함 (진공호스 재연결로 해결). 1단, 2단 기어에서 특히 아침이나 냉간 시동 시 심한 소음 발생 (디젤 엔진 같은 음, 톱니바퀴 치는 소리). 가파른 오르막에서 지속적으로 발생. 기어 변속 시 나쁜 음향.

2007 Explorer AC가 약함. 주행 중에는 냉기가 적당히 나오지만 신호 대기 중 등 정차 시 실내 온도가 빠르게 올라감. 압력 게이지 측정값: AC OFF 유휴 상태 105/105 (저압/고압), AC 컴프레서 ON 유휴 상태 70/120, AC 컴프레서 ON 3000rpm 40/175. 주변 온도 86°F, 습도 65%. 반복 측정 시 약간 변하지만 유사한 수준. 냉매 부족이 의심되지만 저압이 이미 유휴 상태 70psi, 고속 시 40psi라 냉매 추가에 망설임.

에어컨 가스 충전

2004 Subaru Outback Impreza 에어컨이 약함. 134a 냉매 충전 시도 중 압력이 낮게 표시됨. 냉매 충전 중 실수로 병을 거꾸로 뒤집음. 약 1분간 충전해도(10~15초마다 확인) 시스템 압력이 올라가지 않음. 28oz 병의 냉매가 거의 소진됨. 컴프레서가 꺼지고 벨트가 삐걱거리며 압력이 매우 높게 표시됨. 현재 컴프레서가 간헐적으로만 작동함.

2003 기아 세도나 에어컨이 일주일에 걸쳐 점진적으로 작동 중단. 에어컨 켤 때 콘솔 중앙 또는 승객석 근처에서 쉿 소리 발생. 송풍만으로는 소음 없음. 송풍 속도와 관계없이 소음 일정. 에어컨 끈 후에도 컴프레서 작동 중단 후 몇 초간 쉿 소리 지속. 재순환 선택기는 영향 없음.

When I look at Lamborghini Veneno and compare it for example to the Ferrari 458 Italia I can see that Lamborghini used a V12 while Ferrari placed a V8 inside the 458 Italia. I wonder why Lamborghini uses a V12 as it should be the heavier engine. Also due to additional 4 cylinders it has more spinning parts and wearing parts. Shouldn't the V8 have advantages over the V12? So I wonder why did the Lamborghini choose the V12 over an V8? I find the V8, after the 6 cylinder boxster from Porsche, the best engine when taking agreement between weight, spinning parts, horsepower/torque and space.

I was looking for this thread the other day - as others have said, any updates?
