I bought my green Roadster in May 2016 for £922 (Ebay), and I quickly sold the hardtop for £350.I bought my yellow Roadster in February 2025, for £2,200.In the adverts it only showeed it with the hood down and cloth seats.When I went to collect it (another Ebay purchase) it had leather seats and a hardtop.I got home and looked up the hardtops on Ebay and couldn't quite believe it!Now I'm not sure whether to hang on to it, it's a nice thing to have and a nice thing to keep with the car, or have myself an almost half price car!

I got the stereo fitted yesterday afternoon and spent the rest of the day driving around - its a great little car.Stereo fitted, the illumination isn't too far off the colour of the rest of the dash. Having drifted in and out of PH for a few years, and particularly enjoyed perusing Readers' Cars threads - 1275GT's Rover SD1, theadman's Facel Vega, and AndrewCrown's Silver Shadow being particular highlights - I thought I'd pop this in as a bit of a curio.I had seen this at an auction a couple of years ago but only got round to buying it last summer. It is, perhaps slightly eccentrically, my only car. I did have other cars, although I've never had anything made after 1995, but I don't need a daily driver and I found running even a small "fleet" too much of a faff to be enjoyable. So, I have

kambites said: Ours go one each way so the driver's doors open towards each other. That also handily puts the MG's charging port next to the charger. That is exactly how I do it as well.

Straight to the classifieds looking how much a solid MX5 to offer up would be and if the total cost would fit in my new car budget. God I want one of those.

I guess I'm unusual in that I like to park my cars in the garage.My MX-5 is basic, no parking assist, and I have always reversed it into the garage. Recently, I had stuff in the boot and drove it in as it was raining, which meant reversing it out. Oddly enough, I found this easier than my normal reverse in. I just wondered what the general view was.

As we waft diabolically into year five of ownership, a big winter of work looms. It was an easy trip back from France on the ferry. While queuing, I got chatting to a chap with a yellow Gallardo who was finishing up a 2000 mile tour, with company......They were travelling extremely light.However, the process of elimination to diagnose the rough running at low revs has eliminated all the simple possibilities and it still isn't right. Now, it'll have to be off with the metering units and injectors for refurb or replacement. That will be late September, and then it's straight to the paint shop fo

Surely the correct answer is the man brings the cars to the front door when sir wishes to go out? However, for us mere mortals... I reverse all three on to the drive but no idea why, probably because it slopes down towards the road therefore it just feels better with them pointing down when parked. The last thing in the garage was an 850 estate, always went in backwards as the door would hit the spoiler... alas I'm not blessed with a garage the size of an aircraft hanger either, sadly.
