2011 Jeep Liberty: 2014년 4월 오일팬 손상으로 무기름 상태 운행 후 수리. 10월부터 엔진 노킹(叩く음) 시작. 이후 2014년 10월, 2015년 3월, 7월, 2016년 5월에 반복적으로 노킹 발생. 수리점에서 탭펫(tappet) 마모, 리프터(lifter) 블리드다운 진단. 2016년 5월 심한 노킹으로 운행 불가.

A year ago at car inspection, I had to have a brake job. This year, the brakes failed again, due to what they said was a faulty part, which they were able to get replaced by the manufacturer + $50 for the labor. Their standard labor was probably $125 for that job. They offered to split the balance of the labor charge. But I feel like I paid for the labor a year ago. It’s not my fault it was a damaged part. I managed to get them to drop the charge, but he told me it was standard to charge whatever labor they weren’t able to get covered by the manufacturer. Is it standard? If it is, I’ll pay it.

My view is that most manufacturers milk any halo product for all it's worth. That results in such dilution that nothing is special anymore. I read that Ford Taunus (not to be confused with Taurus, it was a small model for German market) used to be made with a V4 engine but that's about it. How come V4 never became more used in modern automotive engineering?

Holy crap. I thought it was just me being impatient until earlier this week when I was driving in a 30 down an empty road. In front of me were 6 or 7 cars all doing about 18-23mph. WTF. I realised it wasn't just me that was annoyed with her because one by one we ended up overtaking her. I've never seen anyone being overtaken by so many people in one go.But yes, it seems that too often I'll encounter someone doing 10-20% under the speed limit. 96 Taurus가 스타터 릴레이 없이 시동이 걸림. 도난 시도로 점화 실린더(Ignition Cylinder)가 손상됨. 현재 키 없이도 시동 및 작동 가능. 엔진룸, 퓨즈박스 아래, 대시보드 아래, 스티어링 휠 컬럼 아래에서 와이어 수정 흔적 없음. PCM 릴레이도 제거된 상태로 작동 중 (안전 모드로 작동하는 것으로 추정).

새 차량이라 클러치 바이트 포인트가 높아서 가끔 엔진이 꺼짐. 엔진 스톨이 차량에 손상을 주는지 우려됨.

'06 코롤라, 주행거리 78,000km. 엔진 시동 중 중간 크기의 틱음이 지속적으로 발생(10m 거리에서도 들림). RPM에 따라 음량이 변함. 약 1년 반 동안 30,000km를 더한 현재까지 지속적인 증상.

2005 닛산 무라노에서 리드미컬한 쿵쿵거리는 소음 발생. 속도가 빨라질수록 소음 빈도도 빨라짐. 진동이나 다른 증상은 없음. 바퀴 회전 속도와 소음 빈도가 연동됨.
