증상
2008년형 포드 크라운 빅토리아입니다. 어제 쇼핑을 다녀온 후 시동을 걸었을 때 엔진이 거칠게 공회전하다가 변속기가 D에 있을 때 꺼졌습니다. 차는 평소에 잘 달리던 차였습니다. 다시 시동을 걸었을 때는 잘 돌아갔는데, 집으로 가는 길에 배기음이 훨씬 커졌다는 것을 깨달았습니다. 심각하게 생각하지 않았지만, 집에 도착해 보니 머플러가 녹슬어서 떨어져 나갔습니다. 쇼핑몰 가는 길에 이미 떨어뜨린 것 같습니다.
처리 내용
두 가지 원인이 있습니다. 1: 엔진과 배기 시스템의 센서들이 이상을 감지하면 엔진 손상을 방지하기 위해 엔진을 종료하도록 지시합니다. 센서들은 머플러가 떨어진 것을 모르고, 뭔가 잘못됐다는 것만 인식합니다. 2: 엔진은 배기 시스템에서 백프레셔(배압)가 필요하도록 설계되어 있습니다(배기가 완전히 자유롭게 흐르지 않음). 머플러가 없으면 백프레셔가 부족해져서 엔진이 제대로 작동하지 않습니다. 이러한 설계의 엔진은 의도된 모든 부품이 갖춰졌을 때 가장 잘 작동합니다. 일부 사람들이 머플러와 촉매변환기를 제거하고 '더 잘 달린다'고 주장하지만, 실제로는 성능이 떨어지고, 훨씬 더럽고, 훨씬 시끄럽습니다. 엔진은 설계된 대로 작동할 때 최고의 성능을 발휘합니다.

I really like it!
