I'm on my second FFRR (thought I'd get that out there 1st off for the haters to hate). Having come from a Merc CL before and had a BMW F11 in between I'm used to larger cars. The length is never the issue, I've always been able to find a space that pretty much eliminates any impact to others without difficulty. Width can be a challenge at times,but again really quite infrequently. The CL was arguably harder to park in spaces due to the size of the doors (current FFRR is a LWB so rear doors are harder and passengers can always be ejected if necessary!), but again a handful of times.Placement on the road is easier in a taller car in my experience. I think most of the issue from drivers staying away from kerbs and not understanding the width arises from the increased prevalence of 1st time large vehicle owners coming onto these with cheaper options on the market.Today I drove down some of Kents finest narrow roads, the worst offenders for positioning being a KIA SUV and an elderly gent in a small hatchback. I even managed to go past a tractor at normal speeds.
