증상
브레이킹 시 왼쪽으로 뚜렷한 풀림 현상 발생. 그 후 진동 시작 - 초기에는 약했으나 점차 심해짐. 진동이 발생하는 속도가 시간이 지남에 따라 낮아짐 (처음 70km/h에서 40km/h로 내려옴). 결국 매우 심한 진동으로 핸들이 심하게 흔들려 비상등을 켜고 정차함. 속도를 낼 때는 진동이 사라짐.
처리 내용
휠이 앞뒤로 움직이는 것으로 보아 쇼크보다는 위시본(하단 제어암) 문제로 추정됨. Subaru WRX는 구형 Forester와 동일한 시스템을 사용하며 이 부품은 녹슬기로 악명이 높음. 3점식 프레스 강철 위시본 구조로 되어 있는데, 증상 분석 결과 내측 전방 조인트가 파손되어 내측 후방 조인트 중심으로 회전할 수 있는 상태로 판단됨. 프레싱 부분이 녹으로 관통되었거나 볼트가 부러졌을 가능성 있음. 이전의 딱딱거리는 소음은 부시가 이미 상당 시간 전에 파손되어 볼트에 과도한 응력을 가했음을 시사함.
